My self-summary
Never judge a book by its cover!

I am funny and easy-going. However, I don't like most of the people around me. I prefer open-minded people who are not restricted in their way of thinking and acting only because of some social or religious ideas that are outdated or untenable.

All dimensions of life should be in balance.
What I’m doing with my life
whatever I want. I am trying to enjoy every bit of it and I can only do that when I have my freedom. There is not stronger feeling in the whole univers than freedom. The freedom of speech, the freedom of being oneself without thinking of what others might say or think. I try to do whatever I want because at the end of the day we have to be held responsable for our actions for ourself. Then we have to ask ourself whether or not we have lived a life of our own or a live that was dictated by others, e.g. family, friends, environment, society, religious belief etc.
I’m really good at
doing stupid things. But I try to be reasonable most of the time. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't :). I am also good at teaching martial arts and other stuff.
The first things people usually notice about me
is my humour. Apart from that I am Joe public ;)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read almost everything. Most books I read are about philosophy, psychology, law, linguistics, sociology, history, and sexuality. I am a big fan of Franz Kafka, Sigmund Freud, Erich Fromm, Milan Kundera, Vladimir Nabokov ("Lolita") and many others. For instance Albert Camus, Charles Baudelaires, Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt etc.

Astérix et Obélix, Le Petit Prince

Music: Die Ärzte, Hugh Laurie, Depeche Mode, Joe Cocker, KISS..........

Game of Thrones, Emergency Room, Chicago Hope, X Files, The Simpsons, Heros, Star Trek Enterprise: The Next Generation, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, Star Trek Voyager.........

The Graham Norton Show, Harald Schmidt Show!!!!
The six things I could never do without
Hannah Arendt.

I depend on freedom and silence.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
many things. I think all the time. Too much thinking is sometimes not good. My motto: Memento mori et carpe diem! Vita nostra brevis est! Gaudeamus igitur!
On a typical Friday night I am
jogging, watching some DVDs or going out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
is that there are no private things to admit. We all think that we are "individuals" that we are special. But at the end of the day we all are the same. The only difference is that some of us don't want to admit their "dark side" because they are afraid of what other people might think. Which is stupid. We all act on certain drives, some don't have a problem with that others fight against their own needs. Nothing is private because there is no such thing as private. Everything that one considers private is intringsingly in every other human being. We are driven by hunger, thirst, and sex.
You should message me if
- you're a nice and perhaps crazy person who is not shy but open-minded, funny and (a bit) naughty ;-)

- if you like to talk about life, philosophy, sociology, psychology, nature, human beings and other metaphilosophical questions or subjects
