My self-summary
I’m the kind of guy who is bad at summarizing. I like trying new things. Travel plenty. Nerd a lot. Looking for someone to jump out of a plane with (Third date?).

I love going to new places, trying new things, but that's probably because I bore easily and always need to find new stuff to do in this city. Still, I can be happy doing just about anything if I'm doing it with the right person. I’m willing to try anything once, and I’d like to.
What I’m doing with my life
I was away from NYC the last few years while at college so I'm spending a good chunk of my time rediscovering the city and catching up with old friends, looking for a partner in crime.

I've been spending my non-free time working in politics and healthcare. I just got back from a Fellowship at a DC-based think tank, so yes, I like talking about politics, but I try to keep it under wraps. Right now I’m managing a private medical practice, but I’m also looking into other projects.
I’m really good at
Thinking wierdly
Board Games
Using my mini tape-measure as a yo-yo
Saying things that make every stop talking (see 'Puns')
The first things people usually notice about me
How much I've changed since the last time they saw me. How does that keep happening?

Most recently it's been the weight I've lost (a lot), the muscle I've grown, and long flowing locks that no longer adorn my head. Que sera sera.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Picture of Dorian Gray, Catch 22, Crime and Punishment, 1984, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Lomita, Enders Game

Movies: Children of Men, City of God, Mel Brooks anything, surprisingly Hot Tub Time Machine, new Batman movies, The Matrix, Thank You For Smoking, everything I've seen by Wes Anderson ie Moonrise Kingdom

Shows: Married With Children, Seinfeld, Community, Baccano!, Deadwood, Breaking Bad (made me fall in love with Chemistry all over again), Gossip Girl >__>, Azumanga Diaoh, Family Guy before it was cancelled, First few seasons of The Simpsons, Archer, Adventure Time, Always Sunny, Wilfred, The League, Portlandia, Whitest Kids U' Know, Living Dead, too much of the stuff that used to be on the History Channel

Food: Candy, Sesame Chicken, Fancy Mac and Cheese, Pizza, Thai, deep-fried anything (ie cheesecake, icecream, pickles, yeah pickles), dumplings, noodles, creme brulee

Wish I understood my own taste in music but lately I've been listening to Mother Mother, Electric Six, Pretty Lights, J Cole, and David Guetta. So... Alternative / Folk / Electronic music?
Six things I could never do without
Wikipedia; The peppermint ice-cream I can almost never find; Passport; My laptop; Pointless/good conversation; New stuff to see and do
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I'll go next. Need to find some new food to try or new place to go.

Politics, the future and past of various things, how funny Russia is, technology, how Apple would make a hamburger, media of the early-mid 90s <3
On a typical Friday night I am
Trying out a new place to eat with an old friend, then wandering about the city chatting and hanging out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I was a vegetarian for a couple of years. Micky-D's changed that. Somehow...

And I like fluffy things way too much for a guy my age
