My self-summary
I'm not looking for someone to complete me because I'm already complete. I'm looking for someone to complement me. Like the river rocks and moss. I don't believe in the "my other half" idea.

I'm not going to make you make me laugh, lol. That's not a requirement--I think it should come as a byproduct of a pleasant relationship or enjoyable interaction.

I believe in this: "Courage is not the towering oak that sees storms come and go; it is the fragile blossom that opens in the snow." -Alice Swaim

"Humility is the mother of giants. One sees great things from the valley; only small things from the peak." -G.K. Chesterton

As far as appearance goes:

Beautiful hands are they that do
Deeds that are noble, good and true
Beautiful feet are they that go
Swiftly to lighten another's woe.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I am working as a registered nurse; it is a true privilege to take care of people in their most difficult and trying times. Many people ask me what being a nurse is like and I tell them it's like a marriage. Some days you get overwhelmed and want to get away from it all but at the end of the day there's no where else you'd rather be because you know you belong there.

I would like to go on another hot air balloon ride in the Shenandoah Valley this autumn. It was a magical flight and I enjoyed every minute of it. I got the experience of seeing small things from the peak, but the feeling of awe of the majesty of God's masterpieces was absolutely thrilling.

Also, I must go to Yosemite National Park. I saw a painting by Albert Bierstadt and got this impression that he captured something grand, something magical happening right around the corner behind that giant rock on the right side because of the golden light that was radiating from it.

Walking the straight and narrow path while looking for my one true love.
I’m really good at
I am proficient in reading, writing, and have good interpersonal communication skills. I love to read and my goal is to read 700 books. Right now I have only read 200 books. Currently reading "Silver Linings Playbook," a novel about a guy with bi-polar disorder trying to win his wife back but crossing path with a girl with her own problems and then unexpectedly falling in love with her.

I also like plants and flowers. I once bought plumeria (tropical plants with beautiful exotic-looking, fragrant flowers) seeds from Hawaii for $5, had them shipped over here and grew them from tiny things into 1 foot mini trees. It's been 3-4 years and the thing (the other ones died, only one survived) is still alive in my apartment. No flowers yet but I think it must be a late bloomer like me.

I used to draw and paint but now I devote my time to other things. I still love art and hopefully one day I can pick it up again.
The first things people usually notice about me
"You look very serious, but you're also very pretty. I bet your dad has to chase guys away with a broom every day."

And I would say, "No, Sir, that would be my mom, my dad uses his shot gun."

Just kidding! Nobody chases anybody away. I think I look very average but people have just been very kind with their compliments.

Six things I could never do without
1) my Faith, Catholicism
2) family & friends
3) being a nurse
4) purse (I have an obsession with pretty handbags)
5) car (I like cars too, can explain to you a little about cylinders, pistons, center of gravity, launch control, torque, HP, quattro vs. xDrive, CVT transmission, tiptronic vs. multitronic, and why you shouldn't tailgate people going @ 80 MPH)
6) my iphone
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to live life so to be a good person. Despite the broken dreams, flaws, and bleak moments scattered with regretful words said and careless actions done, losses and mistakes, life is still wonderful and full of sweet bliss. It's the struggles we have to endure and how to overcome it that enable us to see how great things are. Some days just thinking about how I can breathe air without difficulty or have enough money to buy food makes my day because I know there are worse storms to weather.

“Well," said Pooh, "what I like best," and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called.” -from Winnie the Pooh the essence of enjoyment for me. The pure exhilaration of anticipating something wonderful.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sometimes I work Friday nights, but when I don't, I would spend time with my family or friends or lounge around the house.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That I am velvety and thorny...
You should message me if
you want to go on a hot air balloon ride and sail across the sky on cloud 9 with me (metaphorically) or literally if you are willing to pay $400 for both of us :)

You have a red Ferrari 360 Spider, or blue Porsche 911 Carrera or Chevy Corvette stingray so we can go for a ride ;) Oh, and if you have a white Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, even better :D (Only bantering in case anyone is taking this seriously)

If you can explain the difference between a rear spoiler and a wing. I'd be very impressed.

Not interested in sex, one night stand, foreplay without sex, naughty nurse role play, and all these weird requests and messages from some people. There's more to life than sex.
