My self-summary
I have a nomadic disposition. I genuinely and earnestly consider myself a citizen of the world. My outlook is firmly fixated on the future. I believe in the inherent goodness of our species and in our shared responsibility due to our intelligence and capacity for empathy.

I am a sensuous person and I like to flirt. I am endlessly curious, open-minded, and always interested in getting to know (as well as learning from) passionate, intelligent people. Like-minded or not.

In all my endeavors, I try to do my part in building towards a more diverse and inclusive world. So yes, feminist.
What I’m doing with my life
Artistic entrepreneurship. I connect both people and ideas.

I run an artistic indie game collective in Belgium. We organize the country's only game-focused, international art festival, an international summer school, monthly informal gatherings and several cross-disciplinary events and exhibitions.

I'm polyamorous because to me it is the most intuitive, organic relationship model. For anyone with questions, Everyday Feminism has a great article on the subject, examining the myths and facts.

Not in any current committed relationships, but my beloved Ayke is very near and dear to me.

I'm a storyteller by trade. I used to write graphic novels and screenplays and dabble in interactive narration (both for video games and tabletop environments), as well as game design. Then the entrepreneurial route beckoned.
I’m really good at
making words do what I want.
The first things people usually notice about me
"Oh my God you're so tall!" Then, either the eyes, the hair or the suit. Inspired by modern day comic industry dandies like James Sime and Grant Morrison, I decided the right time to wear a suit was 'pretty much anytime'.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Above all things, I crave innovation and synergy: the joining of familiar influences in strange and interesting new combinations.

Some of my favorite albums of all time are Ritual de lo Habitual (Jane's Addiction), Deconstruction (Deconstruction), Lateralus (Tool), In A Bar Under The Sea (dEUS).

My all-time movie top-three hasn't changed for years: Apocalypse Now Redux, There Will Be Blood and Taxi Driver. (I'll gladly explain why these three.)

My favorite shows are in constant flux; right now they are Twin Peaks, Adventure Time, Community, Generation Kill, Downtown, Atlanta, Silicon Valley and Samurai Champloo.
Six things I could never do without
Beauty. Travel. Nature. Sex. The Internet. Stories.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
my personal theory of consciousness. It's a field theory, and more a thought experiment than anything.
On a typical Friday night I am
hopefully engaged in spellbinding conversation.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm currently aware that I have an active, low-risk HPV infection, but then of course there's at least a 1-in-3 chance that you do too. I've had it for two years and counting. It doesn't particularly affect anything, nor is it statistically or medically relevant for me to tell you, but I'm convinced it's the morally right thing to do regardless.

If you don't know about HPV, let the lovely Erika Moen educate you with a comic.

If this info is irrelevant to you, or you simply don't care: wonderful. If you do care, but can't possibly come up with any low-risk way we might enjoy ourselves, then we probably wouldn't be a great match in the first place.
You should message me if
--you are an independent, strong-willed woman with a personal passion project. Someone who doesn't take herself too serious, but won't doubt her self-worth for a second. Who doesn't care where she goes, as long as it's in the right company.

A co-pilot to explore the endless potential of this world; preferably outspoken, tech-savvy and creative.
