Okay, still here? Great! This is where I get a little serious. I went to college in order to become a Music Teacher because teaching and music were two great passions of mine. I spent 2 years as a substitute teacher and one year as an actual teacher, and came to the conclusion that it was not the life style I wanted for myself. This would be a great topic to go into more detail about later, but for now it's just too much text to type out and siphon through. I have since left the education world, but I maintain my music by performing on my brass instruments in a concert band stationed in Knoxville, TN. Music is still my passion, but it has become more of a hobby than a career path.
So Eric, what career are you pursuing now? Good question! As of right now, I am currently seeking my own path and trying out different things to see what I enjoy more. My direction is currently in desk work or factory work. I love organizing and planning, but I also love to create...so those are my criteria I am searching for. I am currently working tech support for a contracting company in Oak Ridge.
As far as lifestyle goes, I'm pretty easy to get along with. I have my ways of going about things and I enjoy what I do. I never regret my choices, even the bad ones. Bad choices are just learning experiences. I live alone with my cat, Sage, who is my little baby and has become more popular with my friends than I have. On a typical day, I'm normally found sitting on my couch and playing video games or watching something on the intarwebs! I am an introvert and definitely enjoy just my peace and quiet alone or with a small group of people. Big social gatherings I can do, but I cannot do them for long.
Am I here for a relationship? Yeah, you could say that. I am mostly here to branch out and meet new people, but if a relationship blossoms from that then all the better. I'm currently happy with my life and being by myself, but I most definitely will not close the door on any possibility of something happening. I enjoy talking with people and keep a very open mind about things. I also like to make people happy, one way or another. One smile from someone makes me feel like I did something important with my day and I can chalk it up as a success! If you want to know more about any of this, feel free to ask...I'm more or less an open book :)
Other than that, I am mostly just sitting around on my computer with my cat next to me on my couch. I like to get out and about, but I definitely have a people quota that, once met, prohibits me from enjoying huge social gatherings for a bit. I have to enter what I call "People Defrag Mode" so I can come back out and be fine socially.
Shows: I'm not that big into TV, most of what I watch is on the internet (I actually do not have Netflex...shame Eric shame). Most of what I watch is of the anime variety, but there are some other shows that I enjoy. I've been addicted to Game of Thrones for a while now (Heathen Alert: I have not read the books).
Music: Most of what I listen to is a wide variety (stereotypical saying right here), but it is true. My iTunes is flooded with J-Pop, K-Pop, Techno, 80s music, Classical, Video Game, Metal, and many other styles. My favorite style has to be Instrumental, mostly pertaining to video games, with K-Pop being a close second.
Video Games: Really hard to just talk about my taste in video games, so there, you get a free conversation starter...no charge. Instead, I'll just list some of the video games that I've been know to hold to high praise. Metroid, Zelda, World of Warcraft, Assassin's Creed, Sly Cooper, Fire Emblem, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, DDR, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Xenosaga, Pokemon, Megaman, Mario, Super Smash Brothers, Mario Kart, Bioshock, Borderlands, Portal, and Hyperdimension Neptunia.

If you have a love for any of the fine arts, play video games, or just feel like talking about random stuff.
You just wanna.
