My self-summary
Williamsburg guy here.

I'm particularly interested in politics, comics, queer history, and various pop-culture oddities. I recently got a new gaming laptop, so spending a lot of time clearing out my PR backlog.

I'm interested in meeting anyone with whom I can have a good bowl of pho, discover new rock/pop music, watch a Cronenberg film, have a spirited political discussion, or talk about nerd stuff like comics, to give a few examples.

Or just go out and have a good time. More East Village or Wburg than Chelsea or Hell's Kitchen, but I love this town.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently doing marketing and social media for a niche health and medical publisher, the latest step in a varied career including LGBT PR.
I’m really good at
Being a huge nerd. Writing. Having a good sense of humor. Being considerate of other people, and intrigued by what they're doing. Discussing politics, cultural trends, and the things mentioned in my "favorites" section.
The first things people usually notice about me
My charming awkwardness. And my stylish glasses.

And though it's not listed above, my favorite currently running TV shows are Rick and Morty, Veep, Game of Thrones, Hannibal, Agents of SHIELD, The Flash, and Last Week Tonight.
Six things I could never do without
-Yerba mate (it feels better than coffee, with significantly less caffeine!)
-Vietnamese food, especially pho and banh mi (the latter from Banh Mi Saigon in Chinatown, especially)
-My Netflix account - the streaming service is great
-Arrested Development - endlessly quotable
-Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, by Michael Chabon
-My iPhone
I spend a lot of time thinking about
-sex and relationships. Of course.
-how to be a huge nerd while maintaing my sexual mystique
-politics, with an emphasis on gay rights and other cultural issues
-unintentionally hilarious pop-culture ephemera; see for examples
-Vaguely disturbing imagery and ideas, like Chris Cunningham videos or the Futurist Manifesto
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends at a bar or house party. Though I do sometimes keep it lower-key.
You should message me if
you think my profile seems interesting and you're up for chatting. And possibly meeting in person.

Please don't bother if you can't type in complete sentences; if Atlas Shrugged is one of your favorite books; or if you're a sexual moralist. It helps if you comment on something I'm interested in - it works in real life, too!
