My self-summary
Hi, I'm Barton! I'm an outgoing, laid-back, friendly Tufts student here to make new friends, meet cool people, go on dates, or just have some fun.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to become a civil engineer and playing rugby :) Also nerding out over a variety of things. I'm interested in everything from airplanes, airports, and public transport to epidemiology, design, architecture, and cooking... the list goes on.

I love tinkering and building things. If you leave me with a box of Lego blocks I will probably be able to entertain myself all day, haha. I guess a more productive example of this would be how I love building Ikea furniture.
I’m really good at
Making awful puns, fixing things, being sassy, helping others, eating, cuddling, and being handy around the house.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Calvin and Hobbes (not a book, I know...), Harry Potter, Freakonomics, 11/22/63, Shanghai Girls, The Road, Micro, Airframe, Brave New World, Animal Farm, The Surrendered, Fahrenheit 451

Mean Girls, The Devil Wears Prada, The Avengers, Iron Man, Inception, Up, Wall-E, Dahmer, The Town, The Hurt Locker, Zombieland, Easy A

TV Shows:
Nikita, The Walking Dead, Chuck, Grey's Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Family Guy, The Simpsons, The Flintstones, The West Wing, Political Animals, 2 Broke Girls

Tons of stuff from top 40 to EDM to country, but some particular favorites are Katy Perry, Florence and the Machine, Zedd, Keane, Maroon 5, OneRepublic, Carrie Underwood, Fleet Foxes, Sheryl Crow, Lady Gaga, and Coldplay.

I like to give credit to my partially Cantonese heritage for my ability to eat pretty much anything. Some favorites are Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Italian, French, burgers, steak, and much more. I'm willing to try most things at least once.
Six things I could never do without
My friends and fraternity brothers, good Asian food, my iPhone, my laptop, the internet, and news.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how things work. I love learning about everything from engineering to sociology. I also think about food all the time, haha.
On a typical Friday night I am
going out to eat with friends, reading a nice book, exploring the city, having a blast at a party, or watching a movie. I'm open to suggestions!
You should message me if
you want to! I love meeting and talking to new people :)
