My self-summary
Graduated from UCLA in 2012, and been here ever since.

Originally from Denver, and still love the mountains - I hit the slopes to camp and ski as much as possible. Rainier and Whitney next month!

I'd rather have memories than possessions (although the closet is starting to look a lot worse for wear...). A little worried I'm going to run out of stuff to try soon, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. Bungee jumping is next on the list.

I'm a feminist. Here's hoping that scares crap women away as well as it works on misogynist dicks.
What I’m doing with my life
Lawyer/doctor/firefighter. Did I check any of the right boxes yet?

I run a property development company by day and I'm an aspiring novelist by night. Somewhere in there I'm also a rental affordability activist.
I’m really good at

Still somehow harboring a deep love for the Rockies despite what they put me through every year.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm not a brontosaurus.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Eclectic taste generally.

Books: Love the late 19th/early 20th century and science fiction. My novel is part Matrix, part Snow Crash, part Kafka, and part Asimov.

Movies: Little Miss Sunshine, The Matrix, The Godfather, Tarantino, Hurt Locker, Woody Allen, The Big Lebowski are a pretty good top-time favorites list. Brazil and that new Vigo Mortensen movie are currently on my to-watch list.

Shows: Can only follow a couple shows at any given time, but I'm pretty religious about: South Park, Bojack Horseman, and Thrones. The Wire stands alone.

Music: Belle and Sebastian, Johnny Marr, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Gary Clark Jr are all getting a lot of play time at the moment.

Food: Love to cook and trying new restaurants. If I haven't eaten it before, I'll definitely try it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future (from this weekend to 2100)
On a typical Friday night I am
Fridays are quiet these days. Writing club to jam on my novel early on Saturdays. Been thinking I should start hosting dinner parties, but it takes a lot more planning than the gym and a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I hate hiking. Just kidding, but since when did we all decide hikes were cool?
You should message me if
You're smart, funny, cute, and don't like everyone you meet. If you think everyone is cool, then I'm inclined to believe you're either fake or you don't have very good taste.
