My self-summary
Getting a little better at this, though I sometimes take a while to respond to things. Please don't take it personally! :)

I enjoy traveling and finding new adventures, trying to take advantage of the moment as best I can. I love being outdoors, especially at the beach or near water. I'm a huge fan of roller coasters, road trips and just might skydive again if the opportunity presents itself! I'd rather go for a hike than hit the bar after a hard day. I think this is one of the funniest things on the internet:

I'm looking for a partner in crime, someone to share all the exciting things but also someone who is content to take it easy and find joy in stillness. I believe in a strong foundation of friendship and taking things at a pace that feels relaxed and natural. I'm a cuddlebug. :)
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a singer/actor/dancer who spends too much time looking at the #bunny tag on tumblr. I also have a day job that's physical and doesn't really feel like work, so I count my blessings for that too. I audition, spend time outside and with friends, play video games when I have a little downtime, and have a pretty big addiction to Zumba.
I’m really good at
Most things artistic. Singing, dancing, drawing, playing. I'm good with people and try to put others first. I also have perfected the art of tripping-then-pretending-I-wanted-to-jog-for-a-second-anyway.

Also, I'm a good driver but I'm tragically inept at Mario Kart. :D
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably the hair. And the laugh.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music - my tastes change with the seasons and where I'm at in my life. Right now I'm into upbeat, top 40 kind of songs and artists, but I also love jazz, piano, folk, indie, electronic, a little country and classical. Mika, Scissor Sisters, P!nk, Ingrid Michaelson and early Jason Mraz to name a few!

Movies - not a huge rom-com fan, though I do adore Shakespeare in Love. V for Vendetta, The Fall, The Terminal, Easy A, The King's Speech, The Avengers, Scot Pilgrim vs the World, Waiting For Guffman, Up (and most Pixar and Disney) and some scary movies are great too.

Shows - Parks and Rec, Community, Modern Family, Dr. Who, The Office, Firefly, Downton Abbey, Avatar the Last Airbender and Legend of Korra, and I have to admit I have a big penchant for anime (part of where my username comes from). ;)

Books - Fiction and historical fiction, fantasy, some sci-fi, and autobiographies by my favorite comedians and entertainers. Harry Potter, most of Mercedes Lackey's stuff, Middlesex, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Blue Like Jazz, As She Climbed Across The Table and Tina Fey's Bossy Pants are some of my faves.

Food - it says I'm "mostly" a vegetarian. I eat fish so I guess if you want to get fancy you can call me a pescatarian. I'm not too picky, though I don't like super spicy things or pineapple on my pizza.

Bananas are one of my favorite things on the planet. I don't think I've ever turned down a banana. And that's not a euphemism.
The six things I could never do without
Of course I love and need the wonderful people in my life, the support of friends and family and my spirituality, my physical freedom, etc. But this is asking for "things", so let's get more tangible:

1. Coffee. Very sweet with soy and vanilla. ohhh no I want one now and it's midnight help
2. My laptop. It holds the internet.
3. My car. Mamacita. She's a good old girl and I owe many adventures to her.
4. My job(s). Not just for the paycheck, but for the feeling of accomplishment I get and knowing I have impacted people positively in some way.
5. Music. I mean amazing, soul-stirring music that leaves you breathless or tearful. And Maroon Five duh.
6. My glasses/contacts. Self-explanatory. :D
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What the next adventure or gig will be, and where I parked.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sometimes I work, sometimes I'm seeing a show, sometimes I'm in a show, sometimes I stay out late with friends, sometimes I put on pajamas the second I walk in the house and regret nothing. All depends!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
totally, irrationally afraid of pool drains. Phew! Glad that's out and we can move on.
You should message me if
You would like to chat and take things slowly.
If you're kinda nerdy but also like being social.
If we share some interests but you are your own unique and awesome self too.
If you want to go out dancing some time.
Lastly, if you wanna try to make me laugh! I think we all need a little more levity in this world.
