My self-summary
A good friend once told me that I'm a combination of all the characters on 'Parks and Recreation'. That's a good place to start.

Amendment** apparently I'm actually a Tom, Leslie, Andy combo. I'll let you guess why.
What I’m doing with my life
Monday - Friday, I do marketing work at a consulting firm.

The weekend tends to include parties, boozy brunch, weekend trips, bar / food / place crawls with friends, museums, karaoke and / or slothing around my apartment.

Yes, and...since last spring, I've also been taking improv classes for fun. So that's in the mix, too.
I’m really good at
Saying what people are thinking but are too shy to say, chatting, listening, cheering people up / making them laugh, making cards, naps, omelettes, formatting documents (ugh I know), planning themed parties...and probably some other stuff, too.
The first things people usually notice about me
I was once told by a stranger that I had a 'sweet can't replicate the kind of sweetness that's in your face'. So that?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: 'Cat's Cradle' (Vonnegut fan in general), 'The Little Prince', 'Gilead' and yes, !Harry Potter! Read 'The autobiography of Malcolm X' this winter and it was a game changer.

Movies: I really don't watch as many movies as I should/could. Help me?

Music: I'll listen to pretty much anything. But lately: show tunes and hip hop.

Food: I'm a big fan! But also, cheese.

TV: 'Friday Night Lights' is just the best, isn't it? Also, 'Parks & Recreaction', 'Transparent', 'Veep' and, of course, various 'Real Housewives' shows (sorry - I ain't sorry).
Six things I could never do without
Cheese (see?), sunshine, naps (told you), a book to read and two other things that don't make me sound like a small child.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life goals. Funny things. People I know. People I'd like to know. Places I'd like to go. Things that have happened. Things that are going to happen. Things I'd like to do. Things I 'should' be doing. Song lyrics. Dance moves. Food. Books.
On a typical Friday night I am
Should involve any of the following: dinner, drinks, friends, relaxing, tv and some tasty food.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a problem with accidentally replying all to work emails.

Update: this actually hasn't happened in a while.
You should message me if
You want to go get a drink and chat. Then, who knows?
