My self-summary
I moved to San Francisco from Michigan three years ago for a job. While the time has flown (partially due to indistinguishable seasons) it really has been a great experience. I'm originally from England and while I've been here for a long time I still love British tv shows and watching English soccer. I like to cook and have been known to spend all day doing so. I love traveling especially to Greece. I have a weakness for really peaty scotch. I've been told I'm funny (they could be laughing at me too) but also called not so nice names (often at the same time and I think in jest). My work keeps me pretty busy hence OKC.
What I’m doing with my life
I lead the Finance department at a mid size startup. In the past 3 years I have seen more than I have ever could have expected. Its been a fun, yet stressful, interesting, yet draining, and overall rewarding experience.
I’m really good at
My job.

Cooking new dishes and problem solving when we're missing ingredients.

Listening and giving genuine feedback and views (if solicited).

Being able to call out which movies that actor/actress has been in before. Not especially useful I know.
The first things people usually notice about me
Slight English accent which is usually mistaken for Boston.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Jobs, The hard thing about hard things, antifragile.

Greek Food, Indian, Sushi
Game of Thrones, Homeland, Silicon Valley
Six things I could never do without

Eating at good restaurants
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I want be when I grow up. places close to SF which I should visit, vacation locations, whether or not I really need an apple watch.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends at a bar or dinner although sometimes just relaxing at home after a long week.
You should message me if
would like to.
