My self-summary
By day I test software and by nights and weekends I write -- for screen mostly, though I'm branching out -- and I do some acting when I can. I'm enamored of stories and storytelling, particularly when they are both entertaining on the surface, but also told mindfully so as to examine, explore, or illuminate the process of illumination; of breaking through the realm of conscious thought and opening us up, even indirectly, to the inner truths of the cosmos.

Wow... that all sounded a little up its own ass, right? But that's the thing. We exist on these two levels, I think: The physical one and the (dare I say?) "spiritual" one. I do my best to at least traverse them and, ultimately, ideally, (and in reality "occasionally") rock them both at the same time. I dig stuff that's deep and I love stuff that's frivolous, and if a good story or work of art can do that thing where it's both at the same time...? I'm in.

The same pretty much applies to people I want in my life.
What I’m doing with my life
Most of the time I find myself trapped in the past, and driven by an unknown force to change history for the better. And so I find myself leaping from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong, and hoping each time that my next leap will be the leap home.
I’m really good at
Analyzing human behavior for funsies.
The first things people usually notice about me
My fifth ear.

Six things I could never do without
Uh... your mom?
I spend a lot of time thinking about time is a construct of thinking.

Also, those seasalt-covered dark chocolate almonds from Trader Joe's.
On a typical Friday night I am
...contemplating the universe, writing, or doing something dumb.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've been single for a long time. Partly because I'm busy, partly because I'm picky, and partly because the act of pursuing women has gone sour for me over the years; seeming at once both predatory and childish. I find it off-putting to even witness. But there's no arguing with chemistry. I just haven't really felt it in a while. At least, sadly, not with anyone single. So here's hoping the OKC algorithms will help to narrow the field.
You should message me if get it.
