My self-summary
I am a New Yorker born and raised and started my career in investment banking but then wanted to control my own destiny. So I started and ran an Internet company, worked my butt off for a number of years and was fortunate enough to have sold it a few years ago. I then traveled the world for about 9 months trying to figure out what I wanted out of life. Can't say I found all the answers or even half but definitely decided to work less hard, travel, meet inspiring and good people and build meaningful relationships. As ambitious as this all sounds, I am actually kind of a goofball that doesn't take life too seriously and enjoys the company of those that make me laugh and are just good people.

Just to get the conversation started, let's play Two Truths and a Lie. Try to guess what factoid below is not true:

1. I started and ran the largest African American social networking site
2. Lucy Liu was once over my place and used the bathroom and I ran out of toilet paper.
3. I actually competed in a MMA match 10 years ago.

Guess right and you will get a special prize!! Good luck! Feel free to send me your two truths and a lie.
What I’m doing with my life
I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don't want to do that.

I invest in and help start Internet companies. Love working with entrepreneurs having been one.

Trying to travel more. Some favorite places include Siem Reap, Saigon, Tokyo, Shanghai, Salzburg, Florence, El Nido, Seoul, Sardinia, Paris, Barcelona, St. Paul de Vence and Eze.
I’m really good at
80s sitcom Trivia. I watched a lot of tv when I was a kid.
The first things people usually notice about me
Height (tall for an Asian guy) and smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies - Amadeus, Bad News Bears, Dark Knight, Lost in Translation, Hoosiers and Zero Dark Thirty.

Music - The Roots, U2, Frank Ocean, K'naan, Pulp, Kanye West, The Killers, Keane.

TV - Mad Men, Homeland, Top Chef, Friday Night Lights (oh, how I miss you), Game of Thrones and Knicks Games

Books - Kite Runner, The Big Short, The Tipping Point
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What to write in this little box.
On a typical Friday night I am
Trying to figure out what I am going to do Saturday night. Dinner/drinks with friends, maybe a movie, dinner party at home, attending some event I got invited to that is filled with too many anti-social people and we decide to ditch, Knicks game, trying something new.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am the guy that killed Osama Bin Laden. Oh sorry, that was that Navy Seal guy. Nevermind.
You should message me if
you have a great sense of humor. No hairy backs. Who said all guys are picky.. :-)

And just to make it easier for you, feel free to just say "Hi! How are you?" You don't need to come up with anything incredibly witty in the first message!
