My self-summary
I recently moved back to DC after about 9 months away. The 4 ish years I lived here before were a good time in my life and i have a small handful of close friends here so I'm feeling pretty good being back for now. I work as a pollster for a bunch of progressive campaigns and orgs. I dig it.

I'm into creative types, biking, hiking, books, writing, and thinking about creative projects that I'd like to take on. I value self sufficiency and learning how to cook/make/fix/reuse stuff.

ENFP, feminist, dog owner.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Burn Collector, anything Al Burian, Jeanette Winterson, Zadie Smith, George Saunders, DFW, Philip K Dick, Henry Miller, Kurt Vonnegut.

Elliott Smith, Tom Waits, Electrelane, Wilco, Slint, Pavement, Sonic Youth, Sufjan Stevens, Townes Van Zandt, Lucinda Williams, the Be Good Tanyas, Yo La Tengo, Arthur Russell, Kendrick.

Mulholland Drive, many things David Lynch, everything Jim Jarmusch, the Wild Blue Yonder / Warner Herzog, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind / Charlie Kaufman, Wendy and Lucy / Kelly Reichardt, Blade Runner, Brazil. Woody Allen movies have affected me pretty deeply for a long time but all signs point to dude being a total creep. :(

I don't have a tv but I do like some thangs. Twin Peaks, Fishing with John, X Files, Master of None, Louie.
The six things I could never do without
My fam and close friends, pour over coffee in the morning, hobo type traveling, feeling swallowed by mountains, books, communities with roots.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Relationships, feelings, writing, last min travel plans, how to keep Trump thoughts out of my head.
On a typical Friday night I am
Maybe at a bonfire, maybe at a show, maybe at some restaurant ordering multiple plates of food all alone feeling like I'm on top of the world because I have a Groupon discount.
