I'm quite competitive, and enjoy bowling, mini golf (not the full one, it's a shade tricky), and games of all kinds. As soon as the game is over, the competitive spirit is gone - it's important to separate the game from real life, after all!
I say that I do drugs occasionally. Since it's not very specific, I will be explicit - it's weed and nothing harder. I smoke less than once a week, and it's not a major part of my lifestyle. I'm not going to lie, though.
I am clever, driven, and fun
I hope to move on to something more engineering-related soon, especially when the economy decides to turn back to something that would be called 'normal'.
I own a house, because I'm tired of shipping money off to nowhere-land when I could own a chunk of dirt all for myself! (Disclaimer: the bank owns the house for a little while longer...)
I picked up some drumming skills from Rock Band, and some trombone skills from being in marching/stage bands. I did Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for a while, so I'm still terrified of getting in a 'real' fight, but I expect to hold my own.
Making people laugh. I guess it would be a little slapstick, a little morbid, and a lot of Calvin and Hobbes or Far Side.
Movies probably lean more towards the nostalgic, like Beetlejuice and Top Gun. Newer movies are probably the Pixar movies because they're clever and usually tell a good story. TV would be Chuck (let's hope Subway's sponsorship doesn't send it into the shitter) and Firefly.
For music, I usually lean more towards the Dave Matthew's Band type stuff. Most of the Classic Rock is good stuff too. Really, I enjoy typical white boy music.
Food? Lately I've developed a taste for sushi. I always like hot stuff, even though it takes me forever to eat. There was a time when my diet consisted of fish sticks and cheese sandwiches - I've branched out a bit since then.
Games - My friends and I enjoy getting together and this is one of the main things we like to do. This is not your usual Monopoly, folks!
Computer - For when my friends aren't available, and for trolling the dating sites.
Books - The number two way (short of experiencing them for yourself) to expanding my own mind to all the interesting things going on.
Education - I can only strive for the highest level of education I can get! They say that keeping your mind sharp beats Alzheimer's, so I want to keep it up for the long haul.
Eyesight - I would be able to get along without it, but yeeesh I sure like to see things! This is actually one of my phobias!
Math - Because I only had 5 things listed up here for a long time. D'oh.
How the particular smell of diesel burning takes me back to endless band and other field trips in HS/college.
Designing games that people find fun. No examples of my handiwork yet, but just you wait!
I guess I should expand this from 'typical FRIDAY night' to say that I'm all over the place - movies, the lake, back to Lubbock to enjoy some TTU football, etc.
... you have a silly and a serious side.
... you don't smoke cigarettes. The man gets to die first, it's in the rules somewhere. Other turnoffs include: tattoos, piercings you can't show your family.
... you want to try to be the lucky 100th message in my inbox! Nothing great will happen, but you can still go for it!
