I'm looking for friends here, friends first, and hopefully much more later.
I'm a thinker, and a feeler. I enjoy learning about anything from quantum physics to ancient history, I have a deep appreciation for the humanities, and a lifelong passion for science. I try to cover all the bases.
My go to for any entertainment is sci-fi/fantasy in any format. I try to view the world as much as a child as I can, I'm still curious.
Anything new and unknown is interesting to me.
Love my geeky hobbies but I just don't fit in with "that" crowd, or any crowd for that matter I love to play and watch sports but I'm not a jock or gearhead. I have a passion for fast cars and motorcycles but I don't ride around with a crew, I love video games but I don't play them all day everyday.
I'd like to find someone who can enjoy and discover interests easily and believes that life is too vast for one kind of passion.
I don't take myself too seriously and I enjoy anyone with a great sense of humor. I laugh a lot when I'm happy.
I know how to party with the best of them but its a rare once in a blue moon kinda thing to see me in a club...as it should be.
I have no specific physical traits that I look for, and definitely don't have a "type" of woman I like, physically nor personality wise. I don't want to ever let looking for a specific thing blind me from knowing someone.
My friends and people I associate with are not all from the same background or same social economic pool and I like it that's way. I can be comfortable and have a good time in a museum or a dive bar. I enjoy the company of people from all walks of lives and welcome all.
My favorite quote,
"Try as much as possible to be wholly alive, with all your might, and when you laugh, laugh like hell and when you get angry, get good and angry. Try to be alive. You will be dead soon enough." William Saroyan
As far as books go I love nonfiction that expands what I know like The Elegant Universe, or social commentary...I like to read the writings of Thoreau and Emerson from time to time but I enjoy the intellecutal process that science brings. Good speculative fiction from Jules Vernes to Phillip K Dick and everyone in between is what keep me going.
A far as tv and movies Well there is sci fi and then there is everything else. lol Battle Star Galactica, Fire Fly, anything Star Wars or Star Trek related. Farscape, Dr.Who, and all the other good stuff.
My music is all over the place if it sounds amazing I listen. Lately I've been listening to Arcade Fire, MGMT, Danny Boy, Kendrick Lamar, and Major lazer. Thats just for this week though.
