My self-summary
I don't know what to say here. What makes me stand out? What gets me noticed? Nothing so far.

Take a look at my profile, my answered Questions, and my tests. And my photos, if you are so inclined. If you have any suggestions or comments, let me know. If you have anything at all to say to me, let me know. I respond to every message I get, and I will never bother you if you would rather not continue. I don't understand why people would do that, as if telling a woman that she's "not good enough for you anyway" would somehow make her swoon. But then, I am not a "player" or whatever they are called now.

Like me, or don't. Say hello, or don't.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm not really doing a lot at the moment. My life is... a little complicated.

I will tell you that I'm currently dabbling in painting, photography, and woodworking. I'm learning how to play the violin. I'm also learning home renovation
I’m really good at
Sitting on a river bank holding a fishing pole looking like an idiot.

On occasion, I've been able to make someone laugh with a good joke. And I've had many compliments on the taste of my homemade jam and jelly. I also make a delicious pumpkin pie from scratch (using pumpkins from my garden).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A short list of a variety of books that I've found greatly enjoyable or thought-provoking are:
The Bible, The Hobbit and Trilogy, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Fountainhead, Ender's Game, Out of America, The Count of Monte-Cristo, Guns, Germs, and Steel, 1984, Out of America, and the works of Edgar Allen Poe and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Some of the shows I'm currently or have enjoyed watching are:
Archer, The Big Bang Theory, Bones, Burn Notice, Castle, Criminal Minds, Grimm, The Mentalist, Monk, Psych, Top Gear, The Walking Dead, And Warehouse 13, as well as a number of home improvement shows on DIY and HGTV.
The six things I could never do without
God and His Word
My car. Compact SUV. Takes me pretty much anywhere I want to go.
My new DSLR camera. I'm still learning how to take better pictures, but I like it more that I can record some of my better memories and share them. It also helps me remember.

More to come?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about the future. I think a lot about being in the outdoors. I also try to think of ways to make myself a better person. I've not been a public person in the past, so my social skills need work.
On a typical Friday night I am
Exploring. Perhaps traveling somewhere I've not been. Or trying to find a chunk of sky without light pollution so I can photograph the stars at 3 in the morning during the peak of a meteor shower.

I might be experimenting. I look at things and wonder what I can do with them. Can I make this pineapple into jam? Turns out, yes. What can I make out of this old barn wood?

More often than not, though, sitting at home learning how to... do things. Renovate a house, maybe? Start a business?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have no idea how to 'go out' and do things like a normal person. I don't go to parties, clubs, or bars. When I'm out in public, I'm wearing a mask. I've gotten in trouble in the past for being friendly to and treating everyone equally.
You should message me if
You know the rule of thirds.
You want to talk dirty with me.
You have more than one favorite caliber.
You know what you want to do with your life, or not.
