My self-summary
In my free time I typically listen to music, play games, watch tv on my laptop, play guitar, hang out with friends, explore the boundaries of consciousness, and occasionally read a book. I'm not the most social person in the world, but lately that's changed a little. I can be very cynical, but I'd like to think that I still have a lot of love for humanity despite this. It's hard to think of people as being good or evil if you lean towards the idea that behavior is the result of genetics and conditioning. The same goes for relationships. Either our personalities mesh or they clash, but either way it's just intermingling. Things don't have to be right or wrong in that way, they just are. There are a lot of people in my life I would go as far to say that I love, but very few, if any that I really feel like I could click with. Love is a very slippery and self-defined word, though (well, more self-defined, anyways). I'm not entirely sure what I want at this moment in my life. But I have a big heart, and will probably know one day when meet somebody of a similar disposition. I have a small cat named Homu. She is my child.
What I’m doing with my life
Working, moving somewhere cheaper so i can save.
I'd like to maybe travel the country in a vehicle (house) and live off my music one day. Or find a nice little self sufficient community to stay on. Alternative lifestyles interest me. I hope to travel abroad, perhaps through a farming program. I intend to go back to school one day too, though it will be for my own edification rather than an investment.
Trying to keep up with the material I have and generate new songs. Looking for other musicians to work with. Poets especially.
I’m really good at
Guitar. Play some bass, piano, but guitar is my main instrument at this particular moment. It's how I best express myself. I'm a very slow learner but I put a lot of time into what I write.

Proofreading after I hit "send."

Reminding you that I can't do that because I don't have a smartphone. Ask me about how much time t9 has been saving me lately.
The first things people usually notice about me
I do not put much effort into my physical appearance. My technological limitations prevent me from uploading a picture of myself that properly captures my fat at the moment. I can get really erratic when I'm around a large group of people. Very anxious person, or just neurotic in general. I can't spend too much time indoors, because it makes me stir-crazy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Select artists of every genre, but a picky listener no less. Been getting into compilations of psychedelic/funk from South America and Africa lately, particularly Peru, Brazil, and Nigeria. Also recently discovered a lot of kick-ass psychedelic/jazz on the USSR state label. I like a lot of international music.

Some movies are so terrible I love them.

Herbology stuff
I have the biggest boner for Plato. Parmenides is my favorite work though I'm not sure if I comprehend a good portion of it.

Tea, coffee (though I try to limit my consumption), pizza, the local Asian cuisine (especially Thai and Bánh Mì sandwichs), po-boys (shame on you for not knowing what that is), raw spinach, pescatarian stuff (update: CHEATER I'M A DIRTY CHEATER). My sweet tooth will likely bury me one day. Trying to eat a little healthier.

The six things I could never do without
instrument, feet, creative space, laptop (sadly)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Linguistic ambiguity.

Previous ethno-botanical exploits and the foundation rocking experiences they have brought into my life.

My cartoonish understanding of theoretical physics. Mmm, chaos theory.

Dreams and time.

Living in the wild.

Skeptical herbology.

Undecided political issues that normal people have very deeply rooted opinions on.

False flag terrorism and our country's hand in the narcotics trade. Systematic exploitation of "developing countries." Please note that I am not a communist. Nor am I a capitalist. What am I? Fuck.

Why OKCupid assumes if you only drink on occasion that means you must drink socially. Where is the "occasionally, alone, crying in a dark room" selection?
On a typical Friday night I am
Playing guitar, doing internet "research" or legitimate reading. I recently discovered Traveler (d&dish game) and have been tripping my way through my friend's campaign every week or so.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have an absolutely terrible short term memory. It's rather crippling, and a great source of frustration/depression. It's reasonable to be impatient if you have to remind somebody about something multiple times, but if you want to be my friend, I hope you can understand it's something I am sensitive about too.

My circadian rhythm is a white person attempting to clap along on a 1 and 3.

Many of my viewpoints and interests correspond with people who are considered to be hippies. I'm no rock worshiping anti-vaccination type, though. I am a hardcore skeptic, and cling to scientific rationalism (despite knowing that today's scientific rationalism will be tomorrow's sheep herder stories).

I have emotional baggage. Things that come easy for others don't always come easy for me.
You should message me if
Stay up late.
Contain knowledge you think would help me on my journey.
Want to jam with somebody.
Want to take a canoe down a nearby river sometime.
Don't think owning a car is a requirement of adulthood.
