My self-summary
Vital and vivacious, always ready to laugh, always up for a dance. I value family and relationships and dream of helping to establish a co-housing community. I feel very much at peace in natural environments and am active in protecting it. I love exploring ideas, without expectations or the need to fix the other. I want to inspire and be inspired! I am playful, sociable and active. I am not too interested in conventions and looking for an evolved partnership.
What I’m doing with my life
I really enjoy the life I have created and open to opportunities which may make it even better. I have a passion for walking in beautiful places – which where you can find me most weekends. Gaining wisdom and happiness is increasingly important to me. I read around this subject and attend my local Buddhist centre; I'm still working on a regular meditation practice. Thanks to this I am becoming more transparent, honest and courageous. This adds quality and satisfaction to my work as a healthcare professional. I love to travel and am excited about my next ski trip to Norway.
I’m really good at
Headstands, handstands, salsa spins, spanish tortilla and balancing a beer glass on my head whilst dancing. And when not showing off; empathising, connecting, reflecting and soaking up the delights of life.
The first things people usually notice about me
My enthusiasm and approachable smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Changes all the time. Just read 'Wild' by Cheryl Strayed. Loved it and want to do a similar walk but be more prepared! Just seen 'the Danish Girl' which was sumptuous. I don't go to much theatre but would like to.
The six things I could never do without
I could do without but I sure do appreciate; good food, strong coffee, trees, music, smart-arse phone, sparkly things, red wine, bird song (and lots more...)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to improve life, how to accept life (I know it's exhausting!).
Holidays, nature, food, relationships, does my bum look big in this? (I'm still a girl of 20/21st century!)
On a typical Friday night I am
Singing in choir, then meditating at Buddist Centre. Followed by indulging in curry and wine and films at home. Sometimes socialising and partying
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
This Friday night I'm updating my profile. Taken me nearly two years to get round to it. Procrastinator!
You should message me if
You a man with whom I can share lofty ideas and deep belly laughs. You believe a great relationship is sustained by a great friendship. Someone who is self-aware and at ease. Someone who is affectionate and lively in mind and body. You are ready to offer and receive mutual support. You are someone who also values freedom as much as connection.
