My self-summary
*Updated as of June 2017*

Just quit my dead-end job of nearly 10 years and moved to Astoria. Life is weird.

I like art in pretty much every form, and I long to be involved in a creative field as my main occupation.
I love to travel, and don't do nearly enough of it. But that's everyone, right? Been to Ireland, France (kinda), Switzerland, Italy, Japan, Hawaii.

I don't know what else to write here since everything fits elsewhere in this profile, and I keep changing it anyway.
What I’m doing with my life
Good fuckin question.

Mostly eating savory crepes and drinking craft beers
But, I also love film and go out to see movies as much as I can. I wanna go to all the cool theaters in the city, but mostly bounce between Metrograph and Film Forum
I’m really good at
Riding the subway without holding any handrails
The first things people usually notice about me
Is it summer? Farmer tan
Is it winter? Messy mop of curly hair
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Vonnegut and Hesse would top the list. I don't read as much as I used to, but I still try. Recently enjoyed Neuromancer and Kafka's Metamorphosis and The Trial

Comics/Manga: Buttercup Festival, Dorohedoro, Robert Crumb, Vinland Saga, Taiyo Matsumoto, the Flight anthologies, Nausicaa, JJBA

Abbas Kiarostami, Guillermo Del Toro, Bela Tarr, Akira Kurosawa, Terry Gilliam, Michael Mann, Takeshi Kitano, Chan-wook Park, Amelie, Pan's Labyrinth, Edward Yang, old kung-fu films, old-school Disney, There Will be Blood, Brick, Mind Game

Louie, The Killing, Bojack Horseman, The Leftovers

Recent Music:

Always Music: Phil Ochs, Jonathan Richman, Yoko Kanno, The Pillows, Tom Waits, Flogging Molly, Gogol Bordello, The White Stripes, Jesus Christ Superstar, Bran Van 3000, MC Frontalot, MC Paul Barman, Modest Mouse, Townes Van Zandt

Food: I'll try anything once. I tried sea urchin at a sushi place in Japan. It was awful.
Six things I could never do without
~The Arts~
Late night food carts
I spend a lot of time thinking about

And, how to translate motion into drawings.
On a typical Friday night I am
I don't know anymore.
Hopefully at the movies
You should message me if
You are a creative person, or have a passion for some sort of art form, and want to talk about it.
Bonus points if that art form is film or animation
