My self-summary
When I drink sassy spirits, my thoughts are sassy. It's true, so please pass the Courvoisier.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm on the pursuit of happiness! I have a neat new job at a cool non-profit. Love keeping busy and active, but remembering to slow down and smell the roses too. In consideration of this pursuit of happiness - I recently moved from Los Angeles to Milwaukee for my next grand adventure, one closer to where I grew up. Watch out Milwaukee Bingo Halls (and cute/fun menfolk), I'm comin' for ya :)!
I’m really good at
... making chocolate chip cookies, planning fun happenings, making people feel good about themselves, I guess you could say I'm a real Renaissance lady...
The first things people usually notice about me
Look at dat big ass! Just kidding, my butt is proportionate.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like books so much I go to parties at the library, no joke. Some favorites include: Cloud Atlas, Lonesome Dove, A Confederacy of Dunces, 100 Years of Solitude; books by Joyce Carol Oates, John Irving, Jon Krakauer, the short stories of Stephen King, and more.

Love movies too - random sampling of some favorites: WHAT'S EATING GILBERT GRAPE, THE EXORCIST, WILD RIVER, RUSHMORE, MANHUNTER, ZODIAC, and much much more.

Music - again, totally random - here are my most recent iTunes purchases: Patsy Cline's Greatest Hits, Lord Huron, The Beach Boy's "Surfer Girl," the Motel's "Only the Lonely," Harvey Danger's "Flagpole Sitta," Beyonce's "If I Were a Boy."
Six things I could never do without
-- good conversation
-- a good book
-- a good writing device/utensil of some sort
-- good running shoes, a good iTunes mix, and a good sports bra
-- the wealth of my friendships (corny as a cornfield, but true)
-- my family, seriously, they're the bomb. No I mean, they're a bomb. I know, I know - ixnay on the omb-bay jokes. But aren't the terrorists winning if they get to take the fun out of everything?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How funny, sad, weird, and wonderful life can be!
On a typical Friday night I am
Going to my bootcamp class. Or painting the town red, purple, and orange (the colors of the Seventh Veil) at Happy Hour. Or staying in bed reading, writing, and doing arithmetic. Or watching Dateline.
You should message me if
You are rad, good-natured, and fun to be around, you can teach me how to dougie, and/or you think we would get along well. Easy breezy.
