My self-summary
I was born and raised in the central valley, went to school in San Luis Obispo, lived in San Diego for awhile, then moved up to the Sacramento area and am now finally in SF.
What I’m doing with my life
Running a pre-construction consultation business. Trying to find that magic balance of work-life-love.
I’m really good at
At home manicures.
Assembling IKEA furniture (one of my favorite activities actually, and equally I still get immensely joyful playing with Legos).
Self-deprecating humor.
Gift giving.
NOT gift wrapping.
Trivial Pursuit.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I usually look like someone else they know. Other than that, I have no clue.
The six things I could never do without
Besides the obvious air, food, water, and sleep bits?

- friends and family to laugh/cry with
- lip balm/mascara
- clean sheets/nighttime showers
- some sort of bubbly beverage/cheese
- internets
- shoes. glorious shoes.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
At this point of my life mostly my career - how's it going? Am I headed in the right direction? How in the hell did I get here?
On a typical Friday night I am
Either on a plane, or excited that I'm not on a plane so grabbing dinner with a girlfriend or hanging out in my pj's and catching up.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like socks. Dorky socks, printed socks, solid socks, mismatched socks - they're all awesome in my book. I don't even wear socks that much. Just while working out (which is a specific athletic sock) and in bed if it's cold (and then no one sees my super cool tomato socks). But if I see a pair that catches my eye, I have to snatch them up.

Also, I use to hold and rock our family cocker spaniel to sleep like a baby when I was a kid by singing her Christmas carols because I didn't know any lullabies by heart.
