I'm a nice, often quirky, sometimes intense guy. I'm looking for friends, relationships, and hopefully that somebody who makes my heart flutter whenever I see her, but most of all to enjoy the journey along the way.
I am prone to strange jokes, obscure references and a maelstrom of minutia.
I dance poorly, but I dance. I sing poorly and you'll be thankful that I don't. I cook well, but prefer to do it for others rather than myself.
After gradauting college (WMU) I went off for travels and work only to return to Kalamazoo a few years ago. I still love to travel and explore the world both near and far. Lately I have been exploring more of the US, but most of my travels have involved Europe and South Africa.
Most recent trip: 150th Anniversary of Gettysburg.

Most recent films I really liked?
-Avengers and Girl with Dragon Tatoo.
-Family. Don't always need to be near them, but I do enjoy being in touch with them.
-Friends. Much like family, they are great, and make life worth living. Isn't that why we're here? To build relationships and enjoy experiences together?
-Travel. I have to see the world around me. 31 countries and counting!
-Food. Okay, some might have this higher on the list, if speaking literally, but I enjoy trying diverse food and drink.
-Intellectual stimulation. The idle mind is a dead mind. I like a good conversation, a good book, an interesting geological formation...
-Shelter. As much as I can go without it for short periods when traveling or camping, I wasn't meant to live with long periods of exposure.
