I would like to think that I am not a very complicated person but after reflecting on what to write here I have discovered that I am a train wreck. Damn these profiles! Instead of sitting here and writing a really long and boring story about my life I decided to just give you a bunch of random facts about me:
******scroll down past the list if you don’t like reading fun things*******
-I chose "Athletic and toned" because they didn't have “I’ve been paleo for 2 years."
-The only bone in my body I've ever broken was my skull (fracture).
-I’ve scored a basket in basketball, a goal in soccer, haven’t played hockey - Louisiana, I was too little growing up for football and I've never hit a home run in baseball. I can complete 3 tricks snowboarding. Skateboarding is too hard because gravity gets the best of me.
- I’m roughly somewhere between 1% and 50% Mexican and my birthday falls on Sept 16th, which is Mexican Independence Day. Coincidence? I think not!
-For years I was 5’10” and then I accepted reality.
-You just checked my height
-Now you really did
-I own two pairs of skinny jeans but they both serve a specific purpose. If you're not scared of Russians then I'll tell you what they are.
-I didn't drink until I was somewhere between the age of 21 and 22 - I don't remember.
-Reading the little snippets under the Magic Hat bottle caps makes me happy.
-When I'm grocery shopping and nobody is looking I'll push the buggy and ride it.
-I call it a buggy.
-In college my phone once rang in a lecture hall to the song “MMMBop” by Hanson.
-There is nothing better than when your girlfriend leaves your place and it still smells like her (I’m just stating in general…get your mind out of the gutter).
-I’m a pretty good pool player or at least think I am.
-I took guitar lessons for one month. That’s long enough to learn about 3 parts of dueling banjos, realize “what’s my age again” is a hard song and annoy a bunch of friends who come visit. I still jam out pretty hard when I’m bored. Alone. Thanks for the feedback, “friends."
-I download movies off the internet and get away with it.
-I’m the best DJ in the world. It doesn’t take talent to change a good song to a better song.
-I think MTV is really the downfall of American youth culture. Bad music has been pushed on people to a level that is unheard of even surpassing the disco era...but I can’t stop watching “Teen Mom.” - Kidding, I don’t watch Teen Mom… no, really.
-Question: Whose idea was it to put an 'S' in the word 'lisp'?
-Fox News is evil.
-I hate the smell of theme park water. Why would they try to splash you with that?!
Actually in all seriousness I am a driven guy with lots of good things going on in his life. I have been told over and over that I am a “keeper” but I haven’t found someone that I have felt worth sharing my life with. While I am funny and kind of a smart ass I still have goals, which I have worked really hard to achieve and will continue to do so. I hope to find someone that I have chemistry with and that wants to share in my life.
If any of this interests you or want to learn more, drop me a message. (I can’t believe you actually read that entire thing.)
I'm also taking this time to severely miss the NHL season. I need toothless adults slapping rubber around on ice!
Music: The Avett Brothers, Black Kids, Vampire Weekend, Los Campesinos!, Matt & Kim, Brand New, MGMT, Noah And The Whale,, The Wombats, Old Country Music, Bluegrass, Folk, Indy, ...I like anything if it's enjoyable.
Books: "I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell." Anything hilarious.
There's also this book I read on summer break for High School. It had to do with a young kid, an old man dating a hot young woman, a slave who likes/protects the boy, the boy almost getting run over by a train on a train bridge, and a weeping willow tree that they built a train platform around. If you tell me this book's title you're guaranteed some reward because I really want to read it again.
"Happy Hour Is for Amateurs: Work Sucks. Life Doesn't Have To." is my current read. I like to laugh at books and I enjoy wild stories.
Food: Anything whole. I love to cook! This includes Thai Food, Mexican Food, you name it! As long as it fits into my Paleo Lifestyle then I'm good. It's pretty simple to make all your favorite meals!
