I also try to educate myself at all times through self-study (favorite subjects: history, science, literature, the arts) and leisure travel. When I have spare time, I will take off on a spontaneous day trip; when I use vacation time, I want it to count, and I will try for a longer stay someplace salty, sandy, and sunny.
Seriously, though: I'm a social chameleon, and I adapt to fit circumstances (unless I can change the circumstances to fit ME). I'm equally at home in a dive bar or at a black tie affair.
I have two movies that I love above a very long list of ones that I've always put on my rotation: 'The Man Who Would be King', and 'The Wind and the Lion'. (Chances are excellent that you've never seen either, although they each had excellent casts and were feature presentations, but they're just obscure.) I also like '12 O'Clock High', 'Casablanca', 'The Lord of the Rings Trilogy', 'Band of Brothers', and too many others to name.
I have several TV shows that I like: 'Dexter', 'Downton Abbey', 'Justified'.
I like a very wide range of music. I'm (mostly) done with heavy metal, and I never really liked rap, and I like country IF it's live and I'm there (which is mostly how I feel about most sports).
My favorite food could fill a page, so I'll just say this: I love fine dining, and that includes a great plate of ribs from a roadside shack or a mom-n-pop tamale shop; it doesn't have to involve French words or valet parking. So much the better if I'm in the company of a beautiful woman across the table.

I am driven to do the best job I can while I'm working, but when I'm not, I am usually getting something going: a party, a dinner date, a night at the movies.
