Being of Scandinavian origin I am supposed to just like bland white food, but the longer I live the more good spice I find such as Cajun, Creole, Mexican, Thai. But a good salad, steak or shrimp does not have to be tampered with. And a glass of wine is always in order, though a dark ale or minibrew can work.
My wirehaired pointing griffon (great hunting dogs who insist on being your best pals in life -- they have to share the house with you)
Time on the water (it can be just boat riding or fishing or just sitting on the deck at home or elsewhere. My current boat is only a 19 footer but a trailerable boat lets you go to more places)
Changes and new adventures (while I return to many familiar haunts I go to new waters, ski areas or geographic areas for new experiences. I prefer to travel the two lane roads of America where you meet all sorts of interesting folk.)
Interaction with friends (though some of that is stressed by the sort of odd politics that has created division)
Are there still lovers in these advanced years? I could sure use someone to curl with.
