My self-summary
This whole profile is a work in progress to be finished by the end of the day. Check back later haha
What I’m doing with my life
Life is one big mystery to me right now and I'm trying to figure out which direction I'm wanting to go. I've been an on again off again student at the U of A for a few years with the plan to eventually graduate with a degree in psychology. My current plan is to go back this next semester to finish up the degree.. Finally.
The first things people usually notice about me
Normally what people notice about me first is my facial hair, my height, my intelligence, and my sense of humor. I almost always have some sort of beard going and while I try to keep it neatly trimmed, sometimes laziness wins out for a few weeks and then I find people commenting on it all the time.

At 6’4 I’m no giant but I’m tall enough for it to get brought up by random people I meet. I enjoy being able to see over most people I encounter.

Once you get to know me a little more you will find that I’m very intelligent and knowledgeable on a huge variety of subjects. Even if I’m no expert I usually know enough about something to be able to add intelligent input into any conversation.

The last thing people notice is my sense of humor and quick wit. I like using all types of humor from corny puns that I know will make people groan when they hear them to over the top, outrageous, and down right offensive(to some) humor. I have few boundaries when it comes to what I will joke about but I never want to actually hurt someones feelings with my humor. I'm all about laughing and making others laugh. :D
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Most of what I read is sci-fi or fantasy but I like to mix in other works here and there. I don’t read as much now as I used to simply because of time but I think it’s very important to read even if just reading articles online, it’s brain food! By far my biggest problem with reading is that I get bored half way through a book and switch to something else but I try to go back and finish them eventually.

A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin is definitely my favorite right now. The first book Game of Thrones grabbed me so hard I’ve read them all in sequence with no break between them. I'm starting book 5 soon and it's going to kill me having to wait until the next 2 are published.

I like all types of movies from romantic comedies to sci-fi and horror. My favorite is comedy followed by action and horror movies. Some that I really enjoy include: Avatar, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Star Wars, Evil Dead, Step Brothers, Terminator

I have wide interests with TV shows but they normally have to capture my attention pretty quickly or they get turned off. I don’t have cable and I don’t enjoy sitting mindlessly in front of a TV for hours on end most of the time. I prefer to actually be doing something. Here is a quick list of things I enjoy watching off the top of my head.

Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, Heroes, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Falling Skies, Merlin, Battlestar Galactica, South Park, Star Trek, The Office, Parks and Recreation, Game of Thrones, Avatar: The Last Airbender

I have very diverse tastes when it comes to music enjoying both rap, pop, electronic, rock, and most anything that has something that catches my attention. I definitely lean more towards hip-hop overall and my favorite artists include Eminem, Kanye West, Jay-Z, T.I., Lil Wayne, and Tech Nine. Don't let that fool you however; you're also likely to catch me listening to Daft Punk, Justin Timberlake, Nero, Mumford and Sons, Imagine Dragons, and numerous other artists from any genre you can think of. I listen to music pretty much daily and love to have it playing while I get ready for my day.

I love Italian food of any type but really I just like food... If it tastes good it can be Icelandic food for all I care. Trying new things is always a fun adventure whether a new restaurant or a something I haven't eaten before.
Six things I could never do without
#1 My family. While I don’t get to see or talk to them much with everyone living 10+ hours away, my family is very important to me.
#2 My best friend and all my friends really. They are like the family I don’t have near me and always can cheer me up if I get down on something.
#3 iPhone – best purchase of my life for convenience and simple entertainment it provides me on a daily basis. I don’t even know how I survived without a smartphone and could never go back to that thing I call a life before I had this.
#4 My computer I just spent the last few months researching and building. It's my new baby.
#5 The Internet – All the worlds knowledge available at your fingertips… What more could anyone want?
#6 My Bicycle – I recently discovered a love for biking and now couldn’t imagine not spending at least 5 or 10 hours a week biking around Fayetteville. It’s a great hobby to help get and stay in shape and it’s incredibly relaxing to just have the time to think about things. It doesn’t hurt that the scenery changes around you as you bike so you’re constantly entertained as you bike. :)
On a typical Friday night I am
On a typical Friday night you will usually find me hanging out with a few friends at one of our places. I'm not a huge fan of going out to the bars on Dickson, but if that's where my friends want to go I'm all in for it.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
The most private thing I'm willing to admit to people is probably that I'm using this site to help find the right person. Meeting people online still has a bit of a negative stigma but it's the most practical option available so I choose to use it.
You should message me if
Message me if I pique your interest and if you want to meet a fun loving, romantic, and slightly nerdy guy. :)
