My self-summary
Moved to San Francisco from Europe 3 years ago. I enjoy discovering new places, learning new things and trying out new stuff.
What I’m doing with my life
During the week working in the South Bay doing process improvement for a Tech company. Weekends I like to go outside for a run or a bike ride. I ran the SF half marathon a few times and last year I did my first triathlon. After exercising I like to, eh, carb load with a beer, preferably outside in the sun. I also love traveling and try to go on a few trips each year.
I’m really good at
I make a pretty mean cappuccino and can grow a beard easily. So I'm basically just a tattoo away from being a kick-ass barista.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'd like to say my dashingly good looks, boyish charm and quick wit, but realistically it's probably my foreign accent. Those other things are a close second though.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love to read and have quite a varied taste, so favorites tend to change, but for example White Teeth, Catch-22, House of Leaves, The Remains of the Day and Blindness. Oh and one of my guilty pleasures are John le Carre spy novels.

As for movies: I'll watch almost anything that moves. I enjoy clever thrillers, high-brow foreign dramas and powerful documentaries. But I'm also a sucker for slapstick and cheesy action movies.

I don't watch a lot of TV, but I'll binge watch Netflix or Hulu like a pro.
The six things I could never do without
Semicolons; they're under-appreciated punctuation marks
A sense of humor
Internet (don't judge me)
My passport
On a typical Friday night I am
Going out for dinner and drinks with friends. Eating, drinking and laughing. Not shying away from discussing important topics like politics, solving world hunger and the proper orientation of toilet paper (hint: over).
You should message me if
You think we'd get along and it would be fun to hang out some time.
