My self-summary
I love people! All types. I love hearing their stories, eating their food and drinking their drink. I love history and learning new things. I seem to be an unusual mix of extrovert and introvert. I love entertaining people, but am not always the flag of confidence my friends think I am.

I'm from New Zealand. I play guitar and have a fair bit of experience playing professionally. I love to break out the guitar in parties. I've been travelling as much as possible while I've been here, as it is much closer to most places than NZ! Naturally, I'm one of those guys that brings the guitar along on any trip.

I think honesty is important, and I hate secrets. So many problems can be avoided if people are simply honest and open. That said; I'm a private person and tend to keep my personal life and thoughts to myself (unless asked/drunk).
What I’m doing with my life
Travelling as much as possible at the moment; heaps of trips to other countries whenever I get a bit of time off. Living in London has been a good experience too. I'm currently trying to learn as much Spanish as possible, both from my numerous Spanish friends and lessons. I have recently starting taking Swing Dance lessons...
I’m really good at
Playing guitar/singing/entertaining. I'm good with people and love to meet new friends; especially from other countries.
The first things people usually notice about me
It depends: If I'm drunk, they'll probably notice that first. If not, then maybe how I can fit my whole foot in my mouth. Metaphorically speaking.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I've started reading more recently, but I tend to enjoy historical novels based on true events and stories. I have a weakness for non-fictional books, because I love to learn new things. Mao's Last Dancer is a great book. As is 50 dead men walking. My next read will be Blood Meridian.

I can enjoy most movies, but particularly those which make me think. I also like simple stories that are told well; The Castle, Forrest Gump, Love Actually. And I always enjoy a good comedy. Superbad is a favourite.

Anyone who has not seen Jerusalem at the West End is missing out. Fantastic show. I love the references to Druish mythology and the sheer brutality of the language and stories. Amazing.

I love all kinds of music, but particularly enjoy seeing live bands/artist play. I like music that I can dance to, as well as acoustic music that I can sit down and enjoy.

Food; I'll pretty much eat and enjoy anything! I love food, whether its good or bad for me, I'm not fussed... in fact, I think I'll go make myself some crepes right now...

I enjoy watching sport, but don't let it influence my calendar.
The six things I could never do without
1. My guitar(s).
2. My computer.
3. My watch. I've tried this before, and I was frustrated by the end of the day.
4. Music in general; playing, listening, watching etc.
5. Someone to hang out with. Whoever they are.
6. Food, water, clothes, and probably a warm place to live.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I'm going to be going next, or where I'm supposed to be!
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably either playing a gig somewhere or hanging out with my housemates/friends/workmates for a few drinks or more. Then maybe a trip to pubs clubs or something event like.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm fiercely proud of being a ginger. Red rules! Shame that my hair is thinning.
You should message me if
If you're someone who likes to dance, meet new people and travel. You gotta have a brain, enjoy debate and don't watch X Factor (or at least seriously). I have a thing for crazy girls who are not afraid to have a go at something new or out of their comfort zone.
