DC is home, although I originally moved here as a transient and the idea to move elsewhere is never far. But! I've been here for a long and appreciate it. I also can't handle the Boston cold anymore, which makes me feel disturbingly disconnected from my New England roots. DC has great beer, great places, and great people. I do like my beer, and DC has lots right now.
I am optimistic, pessimistic, and contradictory. And that is totally canned.
Also, the length of my hair, both on top of my head and on my face, changes with some regularity.
TV. I dunno. Buffy was one of the greatest things ever on TV. I used to be really into Doctor Who, and I'll totally still watch it, though I sometimes wish I didn't. I watch some of the big shows, including Game of Thrones (despite its horrible faults).
Music. More important than TV. But I hate listing individual bands or artists. I'm glad my parents instilled a love for Bob Dylan and Simon & Garfunkel, among others. TV On the Radio and REM might be my go-to bands. I went to LCD Soundsystem's last show and it is a memory of mine to be treasured! I regularly go back to New Pornographers and Mountain Goats as well. My current playlist (I have seasonal ones on Spotify) ranges from The Weeknd to Sturgill Simpson.
The fact that the camera and music thingamajigger are currently the same telephonic device is giving me some trouble here. Trouble not only in the listing, but in my judgement of the worthiness of my items.
