My self-summary
Grew up in the Wisconsin boondocks and lived in Nashville and DC before moving back this year.

I enjoy reading, writing, plugging the juke box at your local bar, history, distinguishing between good and bad country music, hunting and other outdoor adventuring. I'm a writer, political junkie, literary snob, slight redneck and, most of all, a proud uncle.

I grew up Catholic but am a bit of an organized religion naysayer -- original, I know ... eye roll duly noted. Working hard, meaning what you say and knowing yourself matter a lot. You can take what I say to the bank, and I laugh every chance I get.
