My self-summary
My name is Brian, I'm a journalist, editor and writer with a deep love of movies and an ever growing love of good music, beer and sports. I'm a smart, funny guy with a lot on my mind, a lot of opinions and a mind to say them, but I'll be sure to listen as much as I tend to talk.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm originally from Chicago but moved out here in August for grad school in Journalism at USC, and I finished in May. Now I'm doing freelance writing about movies, entertainment and more.

I go see a lot of concerts, I'm a Bulls, Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks fan, I play fantasy football and baseball, I exercise, I eat out and go to bars and restaurants new and old with friends and family, I play the guitar. I love Settlers of Catan. Somewhat less often, I read, play video games, I ski, run, golf, bike and kayak, and I even dabble on piano.

Thinking about things critically and intellectually. I want to talk about things, explore new ideas and things and understand why things work.
On a typical Friday night I am
I love spending an evening with friends at a bar with a good craft brew or Jack and Coke in hand. If I'm not there, I'm at the movie theater or at a concert, maybe spending the night curled up with Netflix.
