My self-summary
I give up.

Quirky, clever, and cute. Adherent of the Oxford comma. Proud Morton's Toe possessor. There's more to me than than most people would guess, but that's only because most people don't pay attention.

Intellectual curiosity and kindness are two of the most valuable traits a person can have. And good calves don't hurt.
What I’m doing with my life
Being an atheistic infidel heathen. [Edit: I've been informed that a heathen has not heard "the word." As someone who has heard and rejected "the word," heretic is a better description. ☺️] Spending my weekends at art/music shows. Or an out-of-town convention/event. And sewing.
I’m really good at
Reverse engineering.

Calming people.

What I’m bad at:

Making first impressions.

Taking a hint.

What I’m bad at but enjoy anyway:

Playing the accordion.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
This July for my birthday I sent myself on an overnight at the Exotic Feline Rescue Center in Indiana and spent 2 days in close proximity to 200 big cats, most notably the tiger who lived right outside the cabin where I stayed. So right now that's still my favorite thing in the world.

Museums/galleries, dive bars, conventions, meetups, MST3K, audiobooks, podcasts, rodeos, philosophy, game night, firing range, live performance, Borderlands (Brick 4 Lyf!), debates/lectures/demos, road trips, motorcycles, estate sales, sewing/crafting/making, writing. In no particular order; take your pick.

Music: The Chunders, Maggie Smith and the Dames, Soul Shift, Ecclesiastes, the Grumps, Ill Wind, Dog Party, Noog, Death on Vacation, the Wrong Numbers, Try the Wine, John and Miriam, and yes, I made all of those up just to prove to myself that no one reads these lists of bands, and why would anyone.

My favorite movie is "A Clockwork Orange" and my favorite band is the Buzzcocks. I did not make those up.
Six things I could never do without
At least one of my sewing machines.
At least six of my fingers.
At least two wheels.
At least one quart of water.
At least 85% of my IQ.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why it is I can find people with 80+% "match" percentage, in my age range, in my geographic area, who match me on the tough stuff like atheism and no kids, and none of them email me back. And yet sub-literate, sub-30% matchers and scammers find me like a goddamned lighthouse.

I don't know what else I can do. WHAT DO YOU PEOPLE WANT
On a typical Friday night I am
Lately, I've been spending Fridays in with the Xbox and/or Chromecast, but it all depends on what's on my calendar.

Let's talk about ideal nights.
You should message me if like snarky women who make oblique references and are lousy at small talk. If you're patient with me, you will be rewarded.
