My self-summary
Because it's totally possible to summarize a person in a paragraph. Hmm. I guess techie is a good word? I like to make stuff, break stuff, tinker with stuff. I play a bunch of different instruments with varying levels of skill. I've traveled a lot, visited five continents, and lived in London for a couple years. It's still my favorite city. I like to go hiking/camping when I can get somebody to go with me. I'm also an ordained SubGenius minister. PRAZE DOBB
What I’m doing with my life
Working on an electrical engineering degree. I spend my free time reading, watching stupid crap on the internet, and working on various projects. At the moment, that includes 3D printing, Arduino music synthesizers, and ham radio type stuff.

I’m really good at
Wasting time, fixing stuff, making curry. Yo-yo tricks. Breaking things.
The first things people usually notice about me
Unusually large cranial capacity combined with a goofy expression.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Authors: Stanislaw Lem, Philip K Dick, JL Borges, Douglas Adams, Tezuka Osamu, Kurt Vonnegut, Isaac Asimov, Frederik Pohl, Steve Purcell, HP Lovecraft
Directors: Stanley Kubrick, Terry Gilliam, Steven Soderbergh, Richard Linklater, David Lynch, Andrei Tarkovsky
Shows: Doctor Who, Star Trek, Twin Peaks, MST3k, The Twilight Zone, The X-Files, way too much anime to list.
Music: J.S. Bach, classic metal, DEVO, prog rock, TMBG, Super Furry Animals, Wendy Carlos, Tangerine Dream, and many video game and film soundtracks.
Food: Curry + rice, Italian stuff 'cause it's easy, epic hamburgers, the classic Kraft Dinner with canned tuna and canned peas, salty licorice

I like many other things too; these are just the mainstays that I'll probably never end up not liking.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The transient nature of all things. The frightening number of engineers I know who seem to have no sense of responsibility for the technology they help create.
On a typical Friday night I am
Watching the sky for UFOs.
