My self-summary
I'm just looking for a kind, attractive and intelligent woman to disappoint.
Just kidding.
I have no intention of relaying herein some sprawling Dickensian telling of my life story from conception up to this afternoon. Sorry, dudes. In a nutshell, I'm a nice guy that genuinely cares about people. Most people seem to think I'm fun to be around. I spend a lot of time doing the most important job I'll ever have - being a dad to my 8 year old daughter. I work a fair amount, but not as much as I used to. So, I don't have a lot of time and no time to waste. And I don't want to waste your time either. I'm really only interested in strong, intelligent women who bring a lot to the table and can make me laugh really hard.
So, if you have any interest, say hi. Thanks.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm just happy to be here. I hope I can help the ballclub. I just want to give it my best shot and the good Lord willing, things will work out.
I’m really good at
Being a dad, creating playlists, trivia (lots of useless information stored), doing accents and voices, being hilarious, a couple other things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm told my eyes or my smile. Oy, that's cheesy. But that is what I've heard.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books, movies, music and TV shows are pretty important to me. Just so many, but here are a few of each:
Books: To Kill a Mockingbird, Team of Rivals, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter series, Moneyball, Friday Night Lights, Mystic River, Watchmen, Historical novels...
Movies: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Princess Bride, Big Lebowski, Memento, Dark Knight, Godfather I & II, Tombstone...
TV: The Wire, Lost, Arrested Development, Parks & Rec, 30 Rock, Community, Louie, Friday Night Lights, Historical documentaries...
Music: Beatles, Ray LaMontagne, Old 97s, Will Hoge, Avett Brothers, Matt Nathanson, Charlie Paker, Otis Redding, Black Keys, Keller Williams...
Food: pretty much anything
The six things I could never do without
1. My daughter
2. Music
3. Literature
4. Stimulating conversation
5. Steeler football
6. Sex
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Self improvement, the future, my goals and plans, my new job and career, why people do the things they do, story ideas, movie quotes, how to get done all that needs to get done.
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends on the Friday. Either hanging with my daughter or having a couple beers with friends or laying low with a movie or a book or making noise with my guitar.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Still thinking about this one.
You should message me if
You're smart, funny and interesting. And especially if you have a short skirt and a long jacket.
