A while ago, my aunt asked me if I knew why she loved my uncle so much, I answered, "No, why?" She quickly, and with the utmost sincerity, replied, "Because he's my greatest cheerleader."
That comment couldn't have been more true for them. They had this uncommon bond that I'm starting to believe may have been the rarest of things to find. I don't feel most people find this in a lifetime but it's what I think we should all be striving for; to find that one person who brings out your utmost support.
Note: Currently splitting my time between Portland and Seattle.
In Portland Tues-Thurs.
Non-Work: Cooking, Eating and Drinking.
These are my two true passions. I think we undervalue the impact that both the built environment and food has on our happiness. Life is too short for bad design and uninspired food.

We get it, you're an easy going person who loves music, food, and travel. Really though, we will meet and you won't really love food. You'll likely be self prescribed allergic to something; not eat meat off of a bone, or with a face, cause it's "yucky", and will get grossed out when I order the sweetbreads because "we" only eat the prime cuts and stay away from all things offal. Ha! Did I mention I love food?
-you will try anything more than once
-you are creative in some capacity
-you enjoy getting dressed up
-your family ate dinner, together, at a table, every night of the week, but perhaps not on the weekends
