My self-summary
Does anyone LIKE talking about themselves, or is this sort of thing as annoying and uncomfortable for everyone as it is for me? I suppose some people must like it.

Anyhow, I'm a nerd and gym rat that's really kindof drifting through life at the moment and trying to figure out what I want the future to look like.

The "gym rat" part is something I never would have figured on happening. I started going one day to spot for a friend, and haven't been able to stop since. I have few pictures for just that reason. Lost a LOT of weight in the last year and am still getting comfortable with the new me to have pictures taken.

These days I’m becoming more of a comedy nerd than anything else. Podcasts make it so very easy to indulge this increasing interest.

As for what I'm looking for here... Someone who's fun, not completely self-centered, preferably a bit on the nerdy side... Get to know one another and if something blossoms from there, fantastic. If not, at least we each have a new friend.

Not being a "club" or bar person, dating from work seeming like a terrible idea, and dating from the gym seeming kinda creepy, I have few options for meeting women. Here's hoping this will be different.

That’s enough rambling here, I think.
What I’m doing with my life
Working on self-improvement, both physically and intellectually. Beyond that, not sure... Then, is anyone?
I’m really good at
I don't know about "really good", but I'm a fair hand with the written word, and have been told I make others laugh.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am not short, nor am I thin.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Far too many to list fully, but here's a sampling:

Movies: A Clockwork Orange, Fight Club, The Princess Bride, Blazing Saddles.

Music: The Cat Empire, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Rammstein

Books: Time Enough For Love, The Hitchhikers Guide, Survivor, Sex Drugs and Cocoa Puffs

Food: Steak, Asparagus, Chicken, Green Apples
Six things I could never do without
Fire. Water. Oxygen. Gravity. Food of one form or another. Words.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything. Nothing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably either working, or working out. When not doing either of those, likely to be finding some form of distraction either through reading, videogames, or the vast time-suck that is the internet.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I hear "Singing In The Rain" I think of Malcolm Macdowel, not Gene Kelley...
You should message me if
You want to. I can be fun.
