My self-summary
Esoteric intellect, big persona and possible musical genius looking for female equivalent to do battle with. Ok, maybe that's a bit much. Just taking a tip from the Donald Trump school of asinine arrogance. 😄

Just so you know, I don't do the "advanced" membership here. So if you "like" me, I won't see who it is. A personal message would be preferred. And I assume you can say something a little more personable than "Hi".
What I’m doing with my life
Composing, singing, conducting, teaching, etc. I work as a librarian with a new music chamber orchestra here in NYC and I've been lucky enough to have written music for a number of other orchestras and musicians both here and abroad. I even get to perform in many venues including a Korean Restaurant in Midtown that has an opera night every Monday. Pretty cool, huh?
I’m really good at
Music and kissing (Or so I've been told)
The first things people usually notice about me
My big booming Baritone voice that matches my big booming personality.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Goodnight Moon, Shakespeare, Poetry of Charles Bukowski, "Hallelujah Junction" biography on the life of composer John Adams, The Real Frank Zappa book.

City Lights, Goodfellas, When Harry met Sally, Fantasia, Fantasia 2000, Pulp Fiction, Cloud Atlas (for which I orchestrated 4 minutes of the score), The Elephant Man, Fargo, Singin' in the Rain, Inglorious Basterds, Se7en.

TV shows:
Family Guy, Law and Order franchise, The Simpsons, anything on PBS.

Classical/Opera/Jazz: Too many to list.
As far as the Pop/Rock world: Frank Zappa, Tori Amos, The Beatles, Ani DiFranco, Jimi Hendrix, Anais Mitchell, Lady Gaga, Radiohead, Frank Sinatra, Pink Floyd, Fiona Apple, Tony Bennett, etc.

Whatever tastes good, I guess.
The six things I could never do without
Ipod, laptop, music in general, love, friends, red wine.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
"Oh Superman. Where are you now when everything's gone wrong somehow?" - Genesis
On a typical Friday night I am
Playing it by ear.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've cried about 3 times while listening to the opera "Silent Night" by Kevin Puts.
You should message me if
You just wanna!
