My self-summary
I like to crack jokes, drink beer, and talk about the state of the world. I also do a pretty sick karaoke rendition of Boys of Summer.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a headhunter for non-profits. So like a kind, gentle headhunter. When I'm not doing that, I'm usually thinking about food, listening to a podcast, or reading novels on my kindle. In the winter I snowboard. In the summer I drink on patios.
I’m really good at
eating, laughing, talking, drinking.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair or my smile. Both are pretty big.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
No favorite book, but I love Toni Morrison. I'll read most things that my trusted friends tell me are entertaining. I loved Harry Potter, just to put that out there.

When it comes to music, I tend to land on the singer-songwriter end of the spectrum. I like Cat Stevens, Old Crow Medicine Show, Paul Simon, Iron and Wine. I do keep up with the Top 40 and occasionally download a pop song. I'm also drawn to great unique voices--Freddie Mercury, Adele, John Legend, Florence Welch, Janis Joplin, Sam Cooke.

I like to watch TV like we used to. I like to flip channels and enjoy random shows. This is part of the reason why I am so good at trivia. I religiously watch most of the current zeitgeist shows but I have to admit to never having seen The Wire or Breaking Bad. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Obviously I'm into podcasts because 2015. Anything Gimlet, Criminal, Serial, TAL, Planet Money, Call Your Girlfriend, SRSLY.

In terms of food, I am a pretty adventurous eater. Was recently in Japan, so had my sushi/ramen mind blown.
The six things I could never do without
1. My family
2. My friends, near and far
3. A cozy wool sweater/sock combo
4. Cheese
5. Podcasts
6. Singing out loud
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Political issues. When I'm not worrying about where the world is headed, I think about more frivolous things like what to cook for dinner.
On a typical Friday night I am
out with friends or home on the couch. Yup, that cliche.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
While I think I was pretty cool in college, I was also in the Flute Choir. Nerdy.
You should message me if
