My self-summary
Took a job in Shreveport. Moving there this week.

Hi, hey, hello! I feel like I've written too much, but kudos if you get through it all.

About me: I feel like I'm pretty moderate in both my opinions and political views. I have always found that anything in extremes is never good, and I consider myself quietly opinionated about most things.

I enjoy reading! I'm mostly into historical memoirs and crime novels. I love adventuring and being outdoors, so autumn and summer are what I enjoy most out of the year. I am always down for hiking, off-roading, shooting, or whatever else the day brings me.

I am a huge history buff, so if it's vintage I am usually into it. Going along with my love for history, World War Two reenacting is my biggest hobby. (I'm one of those quirky folks who play dress-up) I love antique stores and museums. If you can go to either with me, we will get along swimmingly.

I get told that I look like Peter Parker or Ben McKenzie quite a bit and I have a few tattoos. Long drives that lead nowhere are enjoyable for me, most especially at night. I've been told that everything I wear smells like Old Spice or sandalwood.

I don't really drink outside a beer or two in a social setting, and I do not partake in recreational drug use whatsoever. If that's your thing, we're probably not right for each other.

I am looking for somebody who knows what they want out of life, or they're at least exploring venues that interest them. I want a real, tangible relationship that doesn't revolve around texting each other occasionally. In short, something committed and passionate. I am old enough now that I'm ready to start preparing myself to settle down, and I'd like to find somebody else who is looking for the same things in life.

I know I can come off as kind of serious, but I'm really pretty easygoing. Goofy, even.
What I’m doing with my life
I am an Air Force veteran who attempted EMS and the firearms industry for a little while. I went to college in Florida and worked as a broker for a bit, but now I've taken a job offer as a construction manager in Shreveport. I'd eventually like to go into law enforcement part-time after I'm settled.
I’m really good at
I can make a really swell spaceship noise by whistling and I can draw a pretty mean Homer Simpson.
The first things people usually notice about me
"Are those your real glasses?" Yes, yes they sure are.

On a typical Friday night I am
I'm a fairly low-key person. I consider going to the movies an exciting Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My bunkmate in boot camp referred to me as "Pig Pen" because of how bad my feet stank. I am not proud of this, so please don't judge me. Also, sometimes I daydream about buying a riverfront cabin home in Oregon and disconnecting from the daily grind.
You should message me if
You wouldn't mind getting to know me over a drink or hike. We're all here to enjoy somebody else's company, so why not?
