My self-summary
I'm a native Seattleite (but I wish we had a better name), so I know that we're all supposed to be standoffish and rude, but fuck you. I love that this town has a plethora of food and drink options wherever you are, because I am always in to try a new restaurant or local to somebody dive bar.

I'm pretty passionate about the what I believe in, but I don't wear it on my sleeve. I don't usually get wound up about things until challenged.

I'd like to think I'm hard to read like Ulyssyes, but I'm probably more like Highlights for Kids.

My idea of a good time outdoors is enjoying a nice drink in the sun. That being said, I have been known to tube in a river in the summer or strap some skis or a snowboard onto my feet when the snow comes out.
What I’m doing with my life
Monday through Friday I'm doing the 9-5 thing which is more like the 6-3 thing. I lucked into a job that I enjoy well enough and pays the bills. Once the weekend starts I try to cram all the fun in that I can. Usually late night drinks with my roommates. On Saturday I have no idea where I'll end up; trying to have fun, by that I mean trying to have it all, and by that I mean trying to have a sandwich in bed.

Lately I've started experimenting in the kitchen, I've been trying my have at Korean cuisine and I've discovered that Gochujang is amazing and goes with almost everything.
I’m really good at
Following through on plans, if I commit to something I do it. I don't like flakiness in myself or others, and I don't cancel on people unless there's an emergency. I'm also rarely late, and usually almost awkwardly early.

I'm an etymology nerd. I like knowing where words come from. For instance have you ever wondered how the English language got the word clock? Me too. Let's find out together.

Plugging in USB things correctly the first time, without having to flip it.
The first things people usually notice about me
This is a question I don't know the answer to, and makes me a little anxious, actually.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I tend to get into specific genres and read a bunch of one kind of thing before moving onto the next, right now I'm on an existentialist philosophy kick. Oh my god Steppenwolf broke me in half and made me realize that... Oh my god. I'm also continuously rediscovering choose your on adventure books, because they always create their own new adventures.

Movies: I love movies, I mean I really love movies, good movies. I wish I could nail down a genre or a type but it's not that simple. If you can define the platonic ideal of a movie I like it. Does it make me feel a certain way? Good, bad, sad, thoughtful? I like it, as long as it's good.

TV: Bingy binge binge! How do I love thee? Let me count the ways... netflix, hulu, free shit on the internet, West Wing, Daredevil, Parks & Rec, The Wire. Dear Lost I'm watching you and the aughts keep calling asking for you back. Dear milenials I may not listen to your music but I have seen your shows. Grey's anatomy? yep. Under the Dome? Yep. Madaam Secretary? Yep. The 100? Yep. Supernatural? Yep. #teamcastiel

Music: I like a lot of 90's ska and punk, some British invasion, along with some weird hip hop. I particularly like NOFX, Reel Big Fish, Asobi Seksu, Asian Kung Fu Generation, The Bouncing Souls, The Dollyrots, The Kinks, Queen, Boston, The Pillows, Lagwagon, Noodles, Dr.Octagon, Das Racist and a bunch of other things. Most of all, cover songs!

Foods: I especially love salmon, sandwiches and tacos, but if it is delicious I will eat it all, no matter how exotic, strange or gross. I never turn down the opportunity to try something new, even if just for the experience/story.
Six things I could never do without
My Friends
Good Beer
My Car
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Am I sardonic or sarcastic, and do I really know the difference?

That looping 6 seconds of the last song I heard.

How women experience this site, and how I'd deal with what I imagine are an avalanche of "hey", " sup", and dick pic messages.
On a typical Friday night I am
At Mox boarding house, playing games and having a few beers.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like cold pizza more than hot pizza, yes I know this is insane.

If there is a bookshelf in your picture, I'm probably squinting at my phone to check out those sexy books.

Prefer being the little spoon.
You should message me if
You're rad as hell.
You like to do things that are awesome.
You'd like to play boardgames.
You wanna talk about how dinosaurs are awesome.
You make zoidberg noises when you cross the street.
You have the Sanford and son theme stuck in your head after reading this.
You think this could be the funniest thing in the universe

Or if you want to hang out on a patio, have a beer and giggle about stupid stuff.

Poly people, I love you and you're great. But that isn't a thing I can do. Seems like a fun time, but it's a fun time for someone else, sorry.
