Hi, I'm Valerie.
I am an ENFP/scorpio/(insert variant of your choice here) personality type. Essentially, I am the too school-for-cool type of girl. Yet I also got in trouble quite frequently in early grade school for reading too much so it would be prudent to take that expression to the extreme. Think I kid at your own peril; I am quite proud of all the textbooks I own in subjects that I never took a class for or was given as a gift. To throw off stereotypes, I have been known to frolic in the woods and under a full moon. I also love cold weather, rainy days, and love of trees; One day I would love relocate up north, either to New England, the Pacific Northwest, or Northern Europe.
And most importantly, I love telling stories and I love creating art.
I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a major in Sequential Art (Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, 5 years). I work primarily as a graphic designer and illustrator.
I am saving up for classes and want to earn a Masters degree in Global Business.
Here is my work - http://storytellingshrine.blogspot.com/
I'm also incredibly good at being sassy and a know-it-all, or so I've been told by clearly unreliable and uncited sources.
Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty and turn heads - but I'm also quiet and usually have my head in a book or am drawing. Usually people only start noticing me after they've been my friend for a while - and I wouldn't have it any other way.

My rolemodels, both growing up and continue to be, are Rory Gilmore, Tenel Ka Djo, and Willow Rosenburg. My often used line "This is a fact" was actually stolen from one of them, bonus points if you know which one.
I tend to get along with everyone pretty well (the exceptions are those who have traits like racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and other forms of bigotry).
