My self-summary
I'm fairly tall and too smart for my own good. A bit quiet and geeky. Good at reaching for things from high shelves, if you need that in your life.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm about a year out from completing my physics degree, which I'm doing with the Open University. Currently dreaming about the beautiful freedom at the other end of it.

I work in a petrol station part time to pay my bills. Ask me about petrol. (Please don't ask me about petrol.)
I’m really good at
Maths. 1 + 1 = 2. See? I'm probably fantastic to watch Countdown with. I know all the letters AND all the numbers. Even the imaginary number.
The first things people usually notice about me
I frequently get told I have a nice voice.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favourite book is Good Omens by Pratchett and Gaiman. I'm a fan of Pratchett generally, but other authors I like include Robert Rankin, Christopher Moore and Tom Holt.

The best movie ever made is Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. I'm not willing to compromise on this.

My favourite bands are Reel Big Fish, Harvey Danger, Kaiser Chiefs and Electric Six. I do like a lot of music though and am generally open to most stuff. I've really gotten into Hot Chip and Morcheeba recently.

I love Chinese food, as well as Italian (but who doesn't like that?).

I like a lot of TV. I love stuff like Black Books, Peep Show, Chris Morris' stuff (On the Hour to Brass Eye especially), Alan Partridge, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, The Simpsons and Futurama. I follow a fair few American serials too, such as Fringe, Supernatural, Homeland, Hannibal and Arrow at the moment. I like panel shows such as QI and Buzzcocks, and stuff like Sherlock and Doctor Who too. I think Look Around You, Arrested Development and The Simpsons series 3-8 are all perfect TV shows. The best show currently being made is Rick and Morty.
The six things I could never do without
The internet
five devices that can connect to the internet because come on, it's the sum total of human knowledge at your fingertips.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
If I was sent back to the middle ages with no way to come back to the present day how would I use my knowledge of the future and modern devices to my advantage? Weird stuff like that.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably sweating over an assignment I have yet to complete.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I fainted at the gym once.
You should message me if
you like what you've read, or even if you felt ambivalent about most of it. I'm always happy to chat to people.
