My self-summary
I have a serious passion about food that I can sort of express through my job. I love to cook and bake, and working alongside some great chefs lets me get all these new and wonderful ideas. Have a recipe you'd like to share? We can do a swap!

Information and knowledge are things I utterly crave, even if its the most obscure little things. I love to read, watch tv and movies, and I just inhale pop culture like you wouldn't believe!

I am a nerd. I love pop culture, movies, video games. It's never an all consuming part of my life but its important.

I have a very long list of bars, cafes, and restaurants that are good and that I want to try. Lets see if we can scratch a few more off the list.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working in the wonderful, glamorous world of food service on the management side of things. It eats up a lot of my time, sadly. I wish I had more free time to spend doing things I actually enjoy.

When I'm not doing either of those I'm reading/sitting on transit/drinking unhealthy amounts of coffee.
I’m really good at
-Video Games
-Finding a great new restaurant
-Pop culture
The first things people usually notice about me
I've got really blue eyes. I've been told they are "unsettlingly blue", whatever that means.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Harry Potter (entire series), Lord of the Rings, Paradise Lost, King Solomon's Mine,To kill a mocking bird, Frankenstein, Dracula, The Malazan Book of the Fallen series, The Dresden Files, and many more. I really love reading fantasy literature!

Movies: Kung Fu Hustle, Hellboy, The Avengers, Men In Black 1&3, Kill Bill Vol 1, Tremors, The Big Lebowski, Dogma, Serenity, The Incredibles, The Fifth Element,Deadpool, The Avengers, Ghostbusters! My Movies are pretty pop-culture heavy. I like monster movies more than horror-thrillers.

Shows: Kitchen Nightmares, Doctor Who, The Amazing Race, Any cooking shows really, Supernatural, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Young Justice (Season 3 Baby! Woo!) . Steven universe, Rick and Morty, Cut throat Kitchen. Good Eats is coming back and I couldn't be happier!

Music: Slightly Left of Centre, Mystery Skulls, Caravan Palace, Ken Ashcorp, The Fat Rat, Monster Cat, Die Antwoord. I've got eclectic tastes. Doesn't mean I don't like the top 40 pop stuff, just means I choose to listen to weird stuff! I really enjoy Electro Swing and EDMy stuff.

Food: Anything. No, seriously. I'll eat anything twice. Once to actually say I've tried it. The second time to confirm if I liked it or not. Only things I won't eat are chicken feet and head cheese. Confirmed I don't like those.
Six things I could never do without
- A few moments of silence a day
- Good Literature
- Decent Public Transit [The TTC is better than everyone gives it credit for]
- No bones about it i couldnt survive withour humourous skeleton puns
-Coffee(God help us all if I don't get at least one cup a day)
- A warm, home made meal
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Food mostly. Food is a huge passion of mine ( also currently kind of my job). I've got food on the brain. I love to tinker with recipes and try to find great new tastes.Struggling to figure out what to do with your left overs? I can help.

Also I'm winning arguments in my head that either have happened, or I expect to happen.
On a typical Friday night I am
If I'm going out its for a nice meal. I'm always trying new stuff and out at new places I've found online. Maybe a couple drinks. Friday Night at the ROM is a blast. I wish it was year round.

If I'm staying home I'm ordering a pizza [Sausage, Mushrooms, and hot peppers], opening a bottle of rum or a case of beer, and playing video games until I can't any more.

Both are good.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I know far more about the competitive metagame of Pokemon than should be allowed.

Also I've put a lot more hours into competitive Overwatch than I'm willing to admit.
You should message me if
You should message me if you'd want to have a real culinary experience. Doesn't matter what you're in the mood for, I know where to find it in the city and probably how good it is.
