My self-summary
I have a serious passion about food that I can sort of express through my job. I love to cook and bake, and working alongside some great chefs lets me get all these new and wonderful ideas. Have a recipe you'd like to share? We can do a swap!

Information and knowledge are things I utterly crave, even if its the most obscure little things. I love to read, watch tv and movies, and I just inhale pop culture like you wouldn't believe!

I am a bit of a nerd. I love pop culture, movies, video games. It's never an all consuming part of my life but its important.

I have a very long list of bars, cafes, and restaurants that are good and that I want to try. Lets see if we can scratch a few more off the list.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm working in the food industry in the management side of things as a food service director. If you don't know what that is, think like a Restaurant Manager but with three times the actual work. Oh I am also starting to work out again as free food is both a boon and a bane in my industry. Going to the gym alone sucksss!

When I'm not doing either of those I'm reading/sitting on transit/drinking unhealthy amounts of coffee.

Mourning the fact there is another year between me and next Halloween.
I’m really good at
-Video Games
-Finding a great new restaurant
-Pop culture
The first things people usually notice about me
I've got really blue eyes. I've been told they are "unsettlingly blue", whatever that means.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Harry Potter (entire series), Lord of the Rings, Paradise Lost, King Solomon's Mine, Shakespeare's comedies, To kill a mocking bird, Frankenstein, Green Grass Running Water, the Dresden Files, and many more. I really love reading fantasy literature!

Movies: Kung Fu Hustle, Hellboy, The Avengers, Men In Black 1&3, Kill Bill Vol 1, Tremors, The Big Lebowski, Dogma, Serenity, The Incredibles, The Fifth Element,Deadpool, The Avengers, Ghostbusters! My Movies are pretty pop-culture heavy and b-movies are fantastic.

Shows: Kitchen Nightmares, Doctor Who, The Amazing Race, Any cooking shows really, Supernatural, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Young Justice (Season 3 Baby! Woo!) . Steven universe, Rick and Morty, Cut throat Kitchen. I've never been big into anime but I'm always up for suggestions.Good Eats is coming back and I couldn't be happier!

Music: Slightly Left of Centre, Mystery Skulls, Caravan Palace, Ken Ashcorp, The Fat Rat, Monster Cat, Die Antwoord. I've got eclectic tastes. Doesn't mean I don't like the top 40 pop stuff, just means I choose to listen to weird stuff! I really enjoy Electro Swing and EDMy stuff.

Food: Anything. No, seriously. I'll eat anything twice. Once to actually say I've tried it. The second time to confirm if I liked it or not. Only things I won't eat are chicken feet and head cheese. Confirmed I don't like those.

Video Games: Pokemon, Undertale, Fallout, and League of Legends. I'm really excited for Overwatch, Doom, X Com, a lot of stuff. I game quite a bit. DnD and Pathfinder as well.

I've put way too much time into Overwatch competitive.
The six things I could never do without
- A few moments of silence a day
- Good Literature
- My Nintendo DS
- No bones about it i couldnt survive withour humourous skeleton puns
-Coffee(God help us all if I don't get at least one cup a day)
- A warm, home made meal
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Food mostly. Food is a huge passion of mine ( also currently kind of my job). I've got food on the brain. I love to tinker with recipes and try to find great new tastes. I am also always looking for great new places to eat.

Struggling to figure out what to do with your left overs? I can help.

Oh and revisions to my zombie survival plan. I've put roo much thought into it.
On a typical Friday night I am
If we're talking an ideal night out I'd say Friday Night at the ROM would be my ideal sort of event. Music, food, drinks, and museums. What could possibly go wrong?

But my average Friday night sees me unwinding after a long week of noise, heat, and stress so I tend to take is slower Friday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I know far more about the competitive metagame of Pokemon than should be allowed.
You should message me if
If you are looking for someone to share some delicious meals with, warm coffee [or tea], good beers, and a great conversation with.

My wheelhouse may be literature, food, and pop-culture but I'm more than happy to strike up a conversation on just about anything.

First coffee is on me :)
