My self-summary
I was born in a rather over-bright room, peopled with several individuals, one of whom wore a stethoscope . 'Course that was all years ago.

I enjoy ocean Kayaking; generally fall asleep reading; and sing far too loudly - considering my meager talent - while driving.

Following a myriad of 12 step programs, I've come to grips with the fact that I am one heck of a geek. I have caught entire seasons of American Idol, once went out in public in a cat in the hat costume, and know half the words to that MMM-Bop song.

'Course, I also love hosting dinner parties, am aware that white socks and sandals should rarely be mixed, and would never confuse the "gym" with a dirty word.
What I’m doing with my life
I used to bubble wrap poodles for shipment across international lines.

Now? I'm a small business and intellectual property (primarily patent) lawyer who moved to Nashville to open his own law firm.

As I used to make a living screenwriting, though .... and as my family is still heavily involved ... I haven't parted ways with that side of my occupational world.

Lastly, a tidge (it's a word, don't tease) of my income comes from publicly speaking to the chronically ill and their families. After I've had my law firm open for a bit (JUST starting that up), I'm gonna' devote more time to the speakin' stuff.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at counting. A hundred - heck, a hundred and ten - is barely a challenge for me.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair is what people usually notice first. Or maybe not. I really should ask them, these people who're noticing things.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies: Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Princess Bride, Amelie, Snatch, Shawshank Redemption, and His Girl Friday to name a few.

TV shows: Dr. Who, Dateline, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Parks and Recreation, and Dexter ... and a few of those cooking reality shows.

Books: The Great Gatsby, anything by Twain, Candide, The Hobbit, Walt Whitman poetry, and stuff by this author named Erik Larsen.

Food: seafood (which includes sushi)! I also like trying and exploring new ethnic cuisines

And lastly ... music: oh gosh Everything from 80's to Rage Against the Machine to Broadway tunes. I'll admit ... I'm out of the loop when it comes to indy groups though
Six things I could never do without
1. Sox. Shoes without sox would be a nasal nightmare.
2. Art, literature, movies (and the "open-to-the-public" buildings that house all 3 of them) ...
3. Dr. Who (my guilty pleasure)
4. Rudolph and his nose so bright
5. soap ... THANK GOD someone invented soap
6. XM Radio (or is it all Sirius now...?)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
why Charlie Brown won't stop trying to kick that football
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I worked a a high end, Beverly Hills matchmaking agency (think Millionaire Matchmaker) whilst waiting to sell my first screenplay ... it was a gold mine for both writers and anyone who's fascinated by the human mind.
You should message me if
You're trapped under something heavy and can access your okCupid account ... 'cuz someone should really call the police for you and I totally know their number
