I enjoy ocean Kayaking; generally fall asleep reading; and sing far too loudly - considering my meager talent - while driving.
Following a myriad of 12 step programs, I've come to grips with the fact that I am one heck of a geek. I have caught entire seasons of American Idol, once went out in public in a cat in the hat costume, and know half the words to that MMM-Bop song.
'Course, I also love hosting dinner parties, am aware that white socks and sandals should rarely be mixed, and would never confuse the "gym" with a dirty word.
Now? I'm a small business and intellectual property (primarily patent) lawyer who moved to Nashville to open his own law firm.
As I used to make a living screenwriting, though .... and as my family is still heavily involved ... I haven't parted ways with that side of my occupational world.
Lastly, a tidge (it's a word, don't tease) of my income comes from publicly speaking to the chronically ill and their families. After I've had my law firm open for a bit (JUST starting that up), I'm gonna' devote more time to the speakin' stuff.
TV shows: Dr. Who, Dateline, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Parks and Recreation, and Dexter ... and a few of those cooking reality shows.
Books: The Great Gatsby, anything by Twain, Candide, The Hobbit, Walt Whitman poetry, and stuff by this author named Erik Larsen.
Food: seafood (which includes sushi)! I also like trying and exploring new ethnic cuisines
And lastly ... music: oh gosh Everything from 80's to Rage Against the Machine to Broadway tunes. I'll admit ... I'm out of the loop when it comes to indy groups though
