My self-summary
I am PhD candidate in Humanities. My concentrations are History and Religion. I am currently writing my dissertation. I teach history at the college level.

I love animals. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and rabbits.

Family is incredibly important to me. I try to communicate with my parents and siblings in some way everyday.

I love to surround myself with people who share similar interests but who can also introduce me to new things.
What I’m doing with my life
School and work keep me busy.
When I am not focusing on them, I enjoy spending time with family and friends
I’m really good at
being a loyal friend
getting distracted
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair. It is naturally very curly but most people think I spend the time curling it every morning.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I always have a book with me. Usually it is what I am reading for school but I love reading so I don't even mind having to read something for school.
I mostly read history but I also like fiction, especially mysteries.

I like a wide variety of movies, shows, and music. It really depends on what my mood is. Some of my regular shows are Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds, Big Bang Theory, 2 Broke Girls, Mike & Molly, NCIS, Castle, Royal Pains, Chicago Fire, and Rookie Blue. I also tend to watch reality shows while I am studying because they do not require any thought or attention.

I am definitely a steak and potato type of girl. I enjoy cooking at home and am always looking for new recipes to try.
Six things I could never do without
My family
My friends
My pets
Great food
I spend a lot of time thinking about
my pets
where I will be in 5 years
On a typical Friday night I am
grading papers or doing homework.
Watching a good movie.
I am looking to change this and have more fun now that I have weekends off.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I love being a student and would stay in school forever if I could.
You should message me if
something I said sparks your interest and you want to know more.
