My self-summary
Life seems to be flying by, and whilst I'm pretty happy with mine it would be nice to have someone to share it with. Very nice in fact.

I work very odd times of the day which makes it difficult to meet people, but it does mean I don't spend more time than I should in traffic jams (I'm trying to be positive here!) I have just had a letter through the door though for running a red light (oh the shame).

I enjoy the Arts - particularly art, literature and history; travelling whenever I can.

I also seem to be developing a love of gardening, but please don't let that put you off.

I am empathic, independent, and never late.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a nurse by day and zombie-killing, sword-wielding nemesis by night. Not really. I use a shovel.
I’m really good at
Listening, seeing below the surface, wasting my life on the internet! I also make a really good cup of tea, but forget coffee.

Being territorial over my parking spaces.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm not too far off the ground.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - Salley Vickers, Phil Rickman, Anne Rice, Thomas Hardy, Jane Austen, Calvin and Hobbes, Ross King, Sally Beauman, CJ Sansom, Agatha Christie, Kim Newman.

Movies - Amelie, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Random Harvest.

TV - Doctor Who, True Blood, Fresh Meat, the Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Fringe, Hannibal, Penny Dreadful. Gutted at the new line-up for True Detective.

Music - there's a lot of music I enjoy, but the only artists who move me are Iris Dement and Muse.

Food - olives, halloumi, houmous, chocolate, turkish delight.

And now time for a poem...

you fit into me
like a hook into an eye

a fish hook
an open eye
Six things I could never do without
My cats, my hot water bottle, a good book, my car - freedom! Chocolate and tea.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How time flies.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm not a pub/club person - you're more likely to find me at home entertaining myself. Either that or at work unfortunately.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once went to a Billy Ray Cyrus concert.
You should message me if
Never was a cornflake girl...

So if the measure of your life is sports and hanging out with your hundreds of friends then we're unlikely to get along; but if you're a little bit different, or even a lot different in whatever way, then we'll have something in common.
The two of us
