My self-summary
I'm a person, and I do person-like things. Personality wise, I'm pretty strong-willed, can be a bit abrasive sometime, but I'm also fiercely loyal to my friends and can be quite bubbly and fun. Anything else you want to know, just ask.

Oh, and my profile name means "Beware of running out of wine" in Latin, at least according to Wikipedia.

I am cynical, bubbly, and independent.
What I’m doing with my life
Working at an immigration law firm, knitting, dancing in my apartment instead of going to the gym, going to animal cafes and wishing I had a pet, looking at apartments I have no intention of moving to, learning to cook without an oven. You know, normal stuff.
I’m really good at
Finding apartments and other random things on sites like craigslist, making lists (although not necessarily following them), putting together IKEA furniture, and following recipes. I'm starting to get pretty good at knitting, as in, I don't scream in frustration as much as I used to. Progress.
The first things people usually notice about me
If it's Friday night and I'm out with my coworkers, I suppose somebody might notice how loud and inappropriate I am. I like to people watch so sometimes people might notice that I'm staring at them, making up little stories about their lives in my head. Other times they may notice that I seem to be dancing a little bit while I'm walking or standing in the metro. This is a silly question.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: mysteries by dorothy sayers, p.d. james and elizabeth george, random things I read for class and fell in love with, etc. The Master and Margarita, The Shadow of the Wind, Siddartha... the list goes on.
Movies: too many to name, I'm always up for seeing a new one or a classic I somehow missed. I really like the movie Jesus Christ Superstar. Although I'm not religious, I went to a Catholic elementary school. We watched it as a treat in 5th grade. I don't know why, because it's quite blasphemous. And also awesome.
Music: I like a lot of things, but i also strongly dislike some music. It's pretty random
Food: All of it *nom nom nom*... well, except pastries. Gross
Six things I could never do without
Slightly pretentious words like "shall" and "indeed"
My rice cooker
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Lots of things. Mostly what the next step in my life will be. And why people do the things that they do.
On a typical Friday night I am
Exhausted. I generally don't sleep enough during the week, and on Friday it all catches up with me. Sometimes I power through it and have an awesome night of epicness, but sometimes I just watch TV in my bed like a happy sloth.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
i don't really consider myself that private of a person, at least not once I feel I can trust somebody. But trust takes time, and I don't know you yet, person reading my profile. So stop being nosy please.
You should message me if
I guess if you like what you read above, and you want to know more about me. Also if your idea of a fun date involves an actual activity rather than dinner or drinks. Although dinner and / or drinks can be fun if the place is unique.
