My self-summary
*This profile is still very much under construction*

Anarchist in the streets, fascist in the sheets.

Though I am somewhat skeptical of the empiricism of the MBTI, I find that in so far as it describes me, it is pretty damn accurate, so I am willing to give it the benefit of the doubt.

I'm a reasonably intelligent dude with a quick-wit and an irreverent sense of humor. I often make incredibly off-color jokes and while I feel that Political Correctness has very noble intent, I have little patience for the policing or limiting of speech and expression.

A little reserved with new people, but outgoing and socially competent. I am often passionate about my beliefs and can be very assertive with them. I enjoy argument as mental exercise and will sometimes argue from the other side of the debate as a method of understanding it, as well as finding the weaknesses in my own argument. I am often direct, which might be a turnoff to some.

I am a Secular-Humanist. Philosophically I vacillate between Existentialism and Utilitarianism. Politically I'm straddling the divide between Libertarian Socialism and Democratic Socialism. Though I have learned to be more diplomatic, I am sometimes at odds with people as I am very opposed to anything which resembles dogma or sloganeering, even if it's for something which I support.
What I’m doing with my life
Working for a local small time TV Auction House. Thinking about going back to school at some point in the near future.
I’m really good at
Dumb scatalogical jokes, puns, rewriting song lyrics on the fly and Impressions. I do a pretty decent Heath Ledger Joker and a serviceable Gollum.

Arguing for sport, both with people I agree with as well as those I disagree with, on a variety of topics. Playing Devil's advocate and seeing things from perspectives other than my own.
The first things people usually notice about me
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a borderline film-snob who thinks Stanley Kubrick's 2001: a Space Odyssey is the pinnacle of filmmaking as art, with an eye towards one day trying my hand at directing films of my own.

I love reading Sci-fi and post-modern fiction. Some of my favorite novels are: The Dune series, Slaughterhouse Five, 1984, Fahrenheit 451, Fight Club, The Crying of Lot 49,The man in the High Castle, Neuromancer, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and Trainspotting.I also enjoy Graphic novels.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Pretty much everything.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out in a divey bar with friends drinking microbrews.

Staying in and enjoying a book/videogame/movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm kinky as fuck.

I've come to realize in the last couple years that I have an interest in kink, specifically BDSM. Most especially D/s and Bondage.

I am most interested in partners that are either themselves knowledgeable, and can help me learn, or are curious and want a learning partner.
You should message me if
If You think 2001: a Space Odyssey is one of the greatest films ever made.
If you are an INTJ or INFJ and want to conquer the Earth with me.

If you want to try new foods and go on day trips with me.
If you enjoy verbal sparring and argument as sport.
If you enjoy/are not offended by non-PC humor.
If you're into bondage and will let me learn how to tie knots on you.
