I've never been keen on listing out my traits. They're something that I think you should learn on your own. Besides, it doesn't make much sense to me to list something that is subjective. However, I have been told by that I am a gentleman, an intellectual, outgoing, and stubborn (in a good way; I’m still trying to figure this one out).
My career is very important to me and something that I am very proud of. However it isn't everything. My thoughts on this can be summed up in one sentence, "I neither work to live nor live to work; I live and work."
Learning, it's my favorite activity. I am a very curious individual and always enjoy learning and experiencing new things. It can be some random fact (Erdos Number and Benford's Law come to mind) or to experience a new culture. I think that there is only one way to experience a new culture and it is to do it with as little information as possible and to figure it out as you go along. This method of experience other places has allowed me to eat some pretty exotic and strange foods that I would never have considered before and would eat again without question. If you've got a strong stomach and would like to know what I've had. Ask and I will be happy to tell you.
Movies: I enjoy all kinds of movies. From mindless action to thought provoking ones. Some of my favorites are Gone Baby Gone, Sliding Doors, Minority Report, and Idiocracy.
Music: I don't have any favortite bands or genres. Rather, I just like a song or I don't. A few of my favorites are Bitter Sweet Symphony, Through Glass, Breath, and Sweet Surrender.
Food: Too many to list. I especially enjoy Italian and Japanese food. Cheesecake for dessert.
